Can't thank Adam @ Avalon RV enough for repairing the solar system on my 37 ft fith wheel. He did what another RV company couldn't do for three years.
I agonized for way to long over the amount of money I have spent on a solar system that I could not use, total system recommended by incompetent RV company,
I'll go ahead and say - Happy Days RV. Which one, all of them , been to everyone in Northern California over the course of three years. I had to give them a chance to make it right.
They couldn't !
Then I found Adam at Avalon RV in Benicia, Ca recommended by a gentleman in Salem, Oregon I met when I was broke down. Go figure, fate I suppose.
Was very fortunate to have found Avalon RV.
Two months gone by since Adam repaired my system, totally on solar ever since running all my appliances, tv and air without a problem.
So grateful for Avalon's expertise!
Money well spent for peace of mind, trouble free solar system!

Checking back in seven years later to say that all the work done by Avalon RV to my 1965 Globetrotter still holds up beautifully! We redid the landscaping around our house in 2020, finishing right before the Covid lockdown. As part of that project, our Airstream was connected to the sewer line and we had a trailer hook-up put in. Since then ""Moxie"" has seen daily use as an office (and sometimes as our second bathroom...), and everything works just as beautifully as the day we brought her home. Adam and his team are a pleasure to work with, and they deliver outstanding results. Trust Adam with your rig--you will not be disappointed.

Summary: Avalon RV added a heat pump and some major electrical upgrades to my Airstream Basecamp. I was very pleased with both the process and the results. Working with Adam was excellent. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

I have a 2023 Airstream Basecamp 20X. I was a little underwhelmed with the electrical setup from the factory, so I decided to get some upgrades. I asked the dealership, but they quoted me some truly astronomical prices for half of the work, and wouldn't even do the other half. So I started looking around for other options and landed on Avalon RV, due to the excellent reviews.

Dear reader, the excellent reviews are true and well deserved. I worked with Adam on my project. I gave him some initial specifications, he responded very quickly, and the detailed nature of his responses and suggestions indicated that he understood exactly what I was looking for and exactly how to accomplish it. And the total cost was much more reasonable than what I had been quoted by the dealership that sold me the Basecamp originally.

From their reviews and website it looked like Avalon RV usually only worked on vintage units, but they were totally comfortable working on my newer 2023 model as well.

Avalon RV installed 300 Ah of additional lithium batteries, a Victron Multiplus 3000W inverter, an extended underbench enclosure for the new electrical components, a Cerbo GX unit and GX touch display for monitoring the system, a RecPro rooftop heat pump, an accumulator tank, and an extra 120V outlet.

Everything works perfectly.

Quality work, smooth process, fair price, and all of the results met or exceeded my expectations. I'm a happy customer.

I worked with Avalon to have them complete repairs on my vintage trailer. From the first contact, Adam and Josh were helpful and professional and the guys in the back greeted me each time I came in. I felt like I was treated like a valued friend from start to finish. They did an excellent job on the repairs, and they communicated with me all through the process to keep me informed. Avalon even found and worked with a fabricator to create a part that was no longer available anywhere.

As a result of my experience with Avalon, I have referred two friends for trailer repairs as well. I'm grateful to have Avalon available in the Bay Area.

Was looking for company to do some solar upgrades, electrical work and cabinet work on my grand design travel trailer. After reaching out to a few companies and getting no call back, I found Avalon RV. How lucky was I. I had a great experience. Adam and Josh are outstanding. These guys are so skilled and knowledgeable that it was literally worth an 1173 mile roundtrip to bring my Sprinter to them.

Several RV service centers I had tried did not have the tools, equipment, or experience to handle lithium ion upgrades. These guys do.

Ridiculous , brought in my rig for some easy repairs, what I got was lights no longer working (even though I did not bring it in for that), ripped roof that was once immaculate now needing repair tape (after a bad roof attachment install) and a ridiculous bill to boot. Still licking my wounds.
