We started our journey in 1987, primarily offering commercial services. With our growing reputation, we started receiving more inquiries for residential services. When we began our residential services, we realized we could truly excel and offer excellent service in a field that had room for improvement. Recently, we celebrated 29 years in business. My extensive knowledge and trade skills were developed during my service in the Navy on the USS Constellation CV-64. While in the engineering division, I had ample opportunities to engage with plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical systems. After completing my enlistment, I chose to pursue my dream of entrepreneurship and founded Aux Mechanical.

I wish I had read some of these reviews before I let the Aux technician in my house. I had a technician come out to service my AC. This was supposed to be one of those seasonal inspections of an older unit. I had already replaced the old unit that they had info about. I had a new AC unit installed by another company. The Technician shows up with a pre filled out form recommending replace the entire system. My new HVAC system had already been installed for almost 4 months, The issue now is that 10 days later I HAVE A PROBLEM with a new unit.

LETS see..... the area where the technician made adjustments is the same area where I found a pressure nut loosened. This loose nut allows the coolant to slowly be released causing other problems to later be diagnosed. One of the symptoms of low coolant inside a system, almost burning up the compressor, which is something they would have made more money to install. Fishy, coincidental ??????

Sounds like a set up to me. Once the new technician shows up and I unveil this (plan) to him about how this is the only area that his co-worker made any adjustments on a new system that was perfectly fine. Notice - I just wanted the seasonal annual inspection done. So almost 20 minutes goes by now there is another AUX vehicle parked at my door, but this technician never gets out of his vehicle. Don't get me wrong, I think there may be some good people at AUX but this treatment of the customers has to stop. And at if this continues AUX wont be around much longer.

My floor recently flooded and the water got into my air ducts through the vents. So I called AUX Mechanical and they quickly sent someone out the next morning to check and see see how much water damage had been done, and there was a fairly good amount. Well, insurance is covering all the duct work, thank goodness. I had fast response time and friendly service. I am now about to schedule the duct work to be repaired.
The only reason I give four stars is that their diagnostic fee just to check my air ducts is high.

Got a call from AUXMECH yesterday morning about a AC unit check as part of a previous service plan .Was told the serviceman was in our area . After some hours of waiting he arrived and did some inside and outside inspection .Because of the in place agreement it was no charge, the tech C.L was professional and the whole visit was about 45 mins. He made a couple of recommendations but not a hard sell and he was on his way. We had only recently gone back with this company after going away from them because after frequent uses of their services no regard for our loyalty or deals and discounts were forthcoming .They seem a little more reasonable now but we shall see over the life of the remaining service contract.

Our heat wasn't working well on a cold night, so we called this company. The Technician told my wife that our entire HVAC system had to be replaced to the tune of $8,000. We called another company for a second opinion.They told us the HVAC was absolutely fine and there was simply an unconnected part of our backup heat in the attic that needed to be connected. They connected that part and now the heat works fine. I won't ever call Aux again.

I called twice to schedule an appointment for a plumber. The first time I was called at the last minute to hear them say Sorry, we can't make it"". I rescheduled and no one ever showed up or even bothered to call me. Find another plumber because Aux is unreliable. I'd rate them at zero stars if it was possible.

I sent in a request for a call back on their website and never got a response. I finally called them 3 days later. They scheduled me for the first AM appointment on a day that I made arrangements to meet them. They called me the morning of my appointment and said they were backed up and couldn't make it until later. I waited at home all day and no one ever shoed up. I called them at 2:00 and they just gave me excuses.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AUX MECHANICAL

I have been a premium customer with Aux Mechanical for 8 years and must be stupid! As a Premium customer Aux promised to give special attention and ""drop everything"" to put you first in line.
Well, I've had it! Twice a year I am suppose to get a full blown maintenance check up on the HVAC units (I have 5). I always ask for an early morning appointment because it takes several hours to service so many units. EVERY TIME I have an appointment (which I set up in advance and Aux calls to confirm the night before) I get a phone call stating the exact same reason why they wont arrive and don't know when they will. ""We had a service call from the night before which spilled over into this morning. So I will call you throughout the day to tell you when and if a technician can make it out."" So not only am I not getting the premium service I PAID FOR. I scheduled my day for an early appointment and then never know which day or time AUX will even make it out!
The thing that really set me off this morning is I had an appointment with the HVAC tech AND their plumber. But it just so happens that BOTH can't make it!
After I finish this tirade I am calling the owner PHIL sand asking for half my premium payment back and firing them.

My wife and I returned home from a weekend beach trip to no air conditioning. The next morning, we scheduled a service call with a local company to look into what repairs were necessary.

After determining that our 12 year old AC unit was beyond repair, we solicited replacement quotes from several companies. At the recommendation of a family member, we contacted Aux first. Every other company made their appointment to submit a bid on replacement equipment. Aux proactively called several times throughout the day to assure us that a technician would make it to our house by the end of the day. However, at the end of the day, I missed a call from John in dispatch and was left a voicemail indicating that no one would make it out.

I called back, spoke to John directly, expressed my disappointment, but still requested to be called back the next morning to see if I could work out an opportunity to let someone in. It's almost 4 pm and we have not received a call back. Bottom line, they didn't show up when they said they would show up. And they didn't work to make a sales opportunity a priority.
