These guys are great. Chuck and Carlito added two new ceiling lights for us and did a great job. They put down drop cloths to catch any drywall dust, spent a lot of time measuring and double checking locations, and the lights came out perfect. Glad to have found an electrician who takes the time to do the job right the first time.

Color me convinced. Contacted through the website with a few items (install chandelier in our 2 story foyer, move/install some sconces, and fix a wonky 3-way switch). Scheduled me for a week later which was no biggie, it was not an emergency situation. I received a detailed estimate in email within 24 hours and a 2 hour time span for the visit.

Chuck and Tristan called within 15 minutes of the allotted time (I missed their call earlier in the day due to a scheduling conflict) but they showed up with everything they needed. Installed everything with the chandelier and hung sconces, although they couldn't move them because the wires were short. They also looked at the switch and determined it was not something they could fix right away as it needed additional parts (a second switch) which they would need to order. The chandelier took over 4 hours to install as there were a lot of individual pieces, but even with that they came in right around the budget - and as a bonus, they recognize military and veterans and provide discounts.

I hired Texas Electrical Services to pig-tail my entire house, install some ceiling fans, and also install GFCI outlets in the laundry room, bathrooms and kitchen.

They worked quickly, showed up early, and gave me a great rate. They were able to pig tail my house (1240 sq ft) in one day and had to come back to finish up the GFCI outlets because they needed to order different ones due to sizing. They came back as soon as those other outlets were ready, and were in and out within 40 mins.

They even came back to help me with an issue around the garbage disposal switch not being wired to the correct outlet in the kitchen, and they didn't charge me a penny since it was covered by warranty. I've called them a few different times for work around the house now and I'll recommend them to everyone I know.

Mistakes happen in business so the true measure of a company's quality is how they respond. That being the case, TES is a first class organization. Once they realized their miscommunication I received several calls apologizing for the oversight and the owner truly wanted to showcase what his company really stood for. Recognizing his sincerity, we scheduled a second appointment which went perfectly. Not only was the crew there on time they were very knowledgeable, consultative, engaging and fantastic representatives for the TES brand. The end product was fantastic (I'm now outta the dog house with my wife that the washroom lights work!) and we're looking forward to contacting them again for all of our projects/breakdowns. Kudos to the TES team!

Talk about great customer service, these guys got it down! I've already hired them twice over the last year for minor electrical fixes around the house and they've been excellent both times. Steve (owner) was great with communication. He confirms the appointment both by phone and by text. If last minute scheduling conflict occurs, he does his best to get hold of you, apologizes for the inconvenience, and offers a discount. That's what I call a reliable company.

The first visit was to install a whole house surge protector, since the warranty is only valid when installed by a certified electrician. Chuck came on time and was professional and respectful the whole time. Since he was here, I consulted him on some ceiling fan modifications I was doing at the time. He gave me a quick tutorial on some of the ceiling fan basics and even helped me finish putting the fan back, all free of charge. In addition, just as part of the service, he also went through both my main and sub panels to tighten all the connection screws.

The second visit was to diagnose an exterior GFCI that kept tripping randomly. I suspected it was just a faulty/old GFCI outlet but just wanted to make sure. A team of three came out this time and quickly got to work. They opened up all 3 outlets in the series and cleaned them free of dust and potential dead bugs. In the end, it was just a faulty GFCI. They cleaned off the old caulk and recaulked all the outlets back in place neatly. And finally, they made sure to clean out all the trash before leaving.

I'm a DIYer and a sparkie so I don't usually call an electrician. But when I do, they are the guys I trust.
