They are super expensive. When I called them to schedule the appt, I was told they charge by the hour and the cost will be prorated, if it took them lesser than an hour to fix the issue. When I received the invoice, it was inaccurately prorated. I called the manager and he mentioned something completely different - they charge $180 for the hour irrespective of the time it takes to fix the issue within that hour; when 3 of his employees were specific about the pro-ration. What I don't feel comfortable about is the Inconsistency in pricing within their own team!

However, he was nice enough to cancel the invoice. I give them two stars for this. I'm not happy with how uncourteous this very review's response is from the company.

I don't think I'll do business with them again super inconsistent with the quote and super expensive for $180 an hour - even if it only takes them 15 mins to fix a small electrical issue.

So, my son decided to install a Ring on his own, we thought it was his fault that ELECTRICAL ISSUES came up and bathroom lights were no longer on - turns out to be a ""breaker box"" fuse issue totally innocent sitch - These guys (James was awesome) were able to come out and figure it out and fix it in less than 30 minutes (Super fast response too). Honest and charging accordingly (thank you) for a quick-fix that it ended up being. They did not ""take advantage"" of the situation that could have been overcharged. We will look to these guys for any future electrical needs and so should you!

We noticed a problem with the electrical connection to the hot tub. The insulation sleeve was separated from the bottom of the junction box. Just to make sure it was safe we called an electrician. 440v + water is not something to take chances with! They made an appointment for the very next day and came promptly during the agreed upon time window and texted when they were on the way. Bryce was professional, very helpful and informative and fixed our problem without additional charge, just the $180 fee to come out which is very worth it for my peace of mind. The problem wasn't serious and he fixed it quickly. We will definitely call them again for future electrical issues.

We hired Texas Electrical Services to install a 60A subpanel on our shed, which included running electrical conduit from our main house service panel, installing a sub panel, and doing some wiring inside/outset the shed. Jeremy was always responsive and thoroughly answered questions we had about the installation and permitting with the city of Austin. Trysten and his team were timely, professional, and approachable. We are extremely happy with the end result and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking to hire an electrician!

Outstanding service by the gents at Texas Electrical Services. James and his crew arrived as scheduled, did a complete evaluation of my situation and quickly diagnosed the various issues. They were unfailingly polite, professional and taught me quite a bit about the electrical situation of my new home. They finished up by quickly installing a much needed security camera outlet and cleaned up without a trace. Will be recommending them to anyone needing electrical services.

We got a message in advance informing us about arrival time.
Asahel and Miqneya turned up on time (actually 5mins early). Both were very courteous, professional, and helpful. Did the job (gas bonding) quickly and efficiently, and answered questions I had. Great service from start to finish from company. Prices were inline with other quotes (5 other providers)

Called Texas Electrical Services to install some smart switches after discovering that my wiring in my switch box was pretty non-standard. Asahel and Chris were great. They installed the switches quickly and carefully and cleaned up everything. They also explained everything they were doing so I learned a lot.

Since they were already there, I asked them for quote on installing a new outlet on a wall that didn't have one. They gave me a few options and were able to install it right then for an extremely reasonable price.

Both projects came out looking great.

After I waited on another electrical company to call me back and they never did, so I called Texas Electrical and they answered almost immediately and scheduled me an appointment that day!! They showed up when they said they would and in their defense, the weather was pretty bad lightning and pouring rain! They rescheduled me for the next morning and the showed up exactly when they said they would!! My technician made a couple of quick checks and replaced a bad breaker and rechecked everything to make sure he didn't miss anything!! Top notch service!! I will be calling them if I ever have any electrical issues!! Oh and by the way, they work cheap!!!
