Our offerings include new, scratch-and-dent, and refurbished appliances. Our warranty covers both parts and labor for everything we offer. We also offer delivery and installation options. Our team services appliances within the local area. You can also visit us for repairs, regardless of your location. We sell select parts based on your needs.
We were known by another name in Canyon Lake, TX for nine years before we chose to move nearer to Austin. In 2013, Jim, our Owner and President, purchased some appliances from Austin Appliance Connection during their closure. He moved to a bigger facility, which is now our home in Buda, TX. Jim has always brought on two employees who were displaced by the earlier business shutdown. Austin Appliance strives to be a well-loved community fixture while preserving a ""Mom & Pop"" vibe and avoiding the typical big box experience.

Not even going to rate. Had a service call set up and never showed up. Called to see where they were and was never on the books. Appt confirmed 2 days ago. Never called me back to explain what happened and why they did not show up. All I received was a text message asking to reschedule for tomorrow. Seriously??? Not the way to do business.

Jim is a CROOKE!! I was promised a 30 day parts and labor on my new/used Fridge and did not receive it. My Ice Maker does not work and I have an internal Water leak. I would rate a ""0"" if I could, the guy is a POS! Steer clear of this LYING good for nothing swindler!

I beg to differ. I'm more than willing to post every text trying to get you to help cuz my son was critically I'll due to that mold. You never responded!!!! EVER! I'm not the only customer that's complained to various city officials. You are very cruel people.

I bought a Kenmore gas grill from these guys. It was like new condition, great price, and the delivery guy was on time. Will definitely go back to see them!

I bought a washer and dryer from AA when we bought our house. The price was good. Not outstanding, but good. The washer started leaking out the front and I have not been able to reach AA to come out for a service call. I started calling every week and finally got a hold of AA once. He said he would call me back when he got to the warehouse. I never heard back. Now I'm up to calling every couple of hours. ANSWER THE PHONE! I am not a happy customer.

I've called this guy probably more than 3 times not to mention the emails sent to him about needing a washing machine for my mother. Each message was yeah, I can do that or yeah, I'll call you back. Never called me back. If this is any indication on how the service would be if anything went wrong, I think not!

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!! The owner Jim is a shadey guy to say the least. Told me he would restore an old refrigerator of mine and then never did and came up with every excuse in the world. 6 months later I finally asked him to please bring it back to me and he tried to charge me the delivery fee times two. When I told the delivery guy I disputed the delivery fee he drove off with MY refrigerator. Will have to involve the police to go get it back.

I purchased a washer and dryer in March 2014. I had a few problems with the both of them but Marco quickly came out to fix the issues. After several repairs to the washer, they replaced it with another one. Except for the hassle of the appliances breaking, Jim stayed true to the warranty her offered and fixed it all for free. Marco was always very nice and respectful.

Just wonder how they even stay in business. Have tried to call several times, left messages, and have still never spoken to anyone with a couple of questions I had. If they don't even answer the phone, I don't think they could be a very legitimate business.

THE SATISFACTION GUARANTEE statement on the website just isn't true
The only reason I gave one star is because I couldn't give 0.
To make a long story short, my wife and I bought a scratch and dent refrigerator. We paid cash and I self delivered it home. The fridge never cooled and I arranged for a service repair. After several attempts to get the repairman to show up I gave up and took it back to Austin appliance.
After trying to get my money back Jim Vessels said he did not give refunds.
I proceeded with small claims court to where we both stated our case to a judge, Austin Appliance lost the case and my claim was won. Austin appliance. Now owes me $1385.00 and has made no settlement to date.
Their statement on their website that says SATISFACTION IS GUARANTEED is just NOT so.
I would not recommend this business and I will be adamant to educate customers to their business practices.
