In the early 1980s, after some time contending with difficult financial situations in the northeastern United States, the D'Attile family, together with their then son Greg, decided on the transformative step of relocating to South Florida.

After arriving in the area, Art obtained his local Master Plumbing Certification and on August 15, 1983, Gregg, Arthur, and Marie D'Attile established Art Plumbing.

By 1990, the business focused its services on repair, fixing, upgrades, clog removal, and maintenance of plumbing systems for business, industrial, and domestic settings. Come 1996, the company broadened its portfolio to include cooling and air quality, and as of 2016, Art Plumbing introduced electrical work, becoming Art Plumbing, AC & Electric.

Currently, Art Plumbing, AC & Electric is South Florida's company for home and commercial pipework, cooling, and electric solutions.

I’ve been a third-gen contractor, I’ve lived and brought up a household in Coral Springs for 1983.

Over the years, I have engage with various trade organizations, as well as municipal and regional committees, such as the local plumbing licensing board, President of the Florida Plumbing Association, and now function as the Chair of the Broward County Appeals Board.

Additionally, I have had the honor to coach a variety of young sports teams over the years, countless to enumerate here. I hold in the Golden Rule, “Act towards others as you want them to act towards you.” We’ve been supporting the Coral Springs community and the region since 1983, and it is our honor to give back to the areas that we thrive in, serve in, and play in.

I collaborate with and mentor our team here at Art Plumbing, AC & Electric to strive to be the best they can be daily, in all they do.

I called Art because my AC unit was leaking water in my garage, so the inside unit. The technician who came in spoke to me about my issues and then took a look. I had cleaned the coils the prior year with another company and I thought that may it. I asked how much it would be to change them. He came back with something like $1900. He didn't give be an exact number, just a ballpark. I thought it was a bit much, so then I asked how much it would be to change the whole AC unit. This is where things get strange. He guesstimated (again ) about 6k. I asked him to give me an actual quote on paper and that I would get another couple of quotes. He refused to do it. He actually said that he wouldn't until he saw what other companies brought to the table. He tried lots of sales tactics, but I was very up front to him that it would be a big expense and I can't just go with the first company, and since he isn't even giving me a point of comparison, I would call other companies. In the end, he said he could repair my problem for $400. I let him do it, it came out to $484, but I was pretty upset that he didn't give me that as an option until he saw I wasn't going to use him at all. I felt that he was dishonest and was trying to take advantage of me. It's been a couple of months and his repair is holding, but the next time I have AC issues, I will change the unit, but will not be calling them.

So Home Depot had a holiday AC Tune-up special for a very low price (should've been a red flag right there, alone). I asked if there was any catch and if it mattered if mine was a condo unit with outdoor unit being on a roof, requiring a 30' ladder for access. They said no, so I signed up and made that note about the ladder (they could not tell me who the AC contractor was either, btw). A few weeks later, I get a call from Art Plumbing to set up the appointment and was scheduled for a couple Fridays later. When that Friday came, they called me and said they noticed there ""might"" be a need for a long ladder but they did not have one available that day and asked to reschedule for 2 weeks later. I reluctantly agreed. Today was that day and they called right at the appointment time with a similar excuse, now saying their ladder is broken and could they reschedule again. Needless to say, I gave them a piece of my mind, noting I've woken up early on my day off TWICE for nothing and they are a big enough company and can (and should) invest in more long ladders, if what they're claiming is true. I told them to just forget about the whole thing and I'll use my friends' AC services when I feel they're needed.

Why? Because under warranty they charged me $850 to replace a fan that took them an hour to replace.
There warranty service is totally bogus when they think it is appropriate to charge that much for labor.

Waited three hours for them to show . I called twice and they told me the guy is still on another job. All phone calls go through a call center you can't talk directly to anyone at the office.

Terrible experience, I left work early to meet them. Finally after waiting 3 hours someone called to say it will be another 30 to 40 minutes

I called and was given arrival times and 2 or 3 times they were a no show. I purchased a water heater at Home Depot and this was their approved vendor. Based on this experience I would never use them nor do I recommend them. They should get negative stars.

I recieved services from Art plumbing. I feel so frustrated and disappointed in their service, I do not recommend this company! They lied and told me the job would be $3500 FLAT. Later, after the service was completed and after I had to
Chase them around for serveral days to get them to complete the job, they told me my service was 5100! I lost serval days of working waiting around for them to never show up and then they took advantage of me and forced me to pay more than quoted. After paying 5100, my AC was still not functioning and I had to have another company come and finish the job. I tried to contact them and have them come back out to rectify the ac again and they didn't call me back for 2 weeks! Do not fall for their non sense, they are deceetful and left me struggling with no ac in this south Florida heat for over a week! Not to mention the billing issue!

I called this company to do my AC maintenance since I had them install 2 NEW units 1 year ago in August. We scheduled an appointment to do so. The day of the appointment no one called so I called, and they stated they would have the tech call me. No one called. I called the next day to reschedule and made the same appointment time. No one called so I called again, and they told me that the tech wasn't able to make it, so they scheduled me for the next day. Why would someone do that without first seeing if I was available? Yet, I agreed for them to do so. 3rd times a charm, right? NO. Still no show. You cannot speak to someone in the office. It seems you get a call center to make these Schedules. I kept getting Amanda for all 3 appointment requests. ""How can I make you happy today?"" is what they ask. Yet, they did not make me happy with my request. Waste of your time and mine.
