I had my kitchen remodeled and one of the outlets did not work. Called ALS and Dee came out and fixed the outlet. Before he left I asked about recessed lighting for my kitchen what I would need and the cost. After the discussion I asked when, he replied I have time now. He went and got everything needed and completed the job that night. He did everything thing he said he would do and included a dimmer switch for the lights. He left my kitchen clean and neat. I will definitely use him again.

My entire neighborhood was switching from old 90s brass outdoor light fixtures to new black fixtures, which we were responsible for getting installed. I knew it was going to look amazing, but I also knew I wasn't capable of installing them myself. I found Armstrong Lighting Solutions on the thumbtack app, where I saw some beautiful photo evidence of their work (plus excellent reviews)! I contacted them and Dee Armstrong replied quickly. Their quote was in line with what I expected it to cost, and I was able to get it schedule for the following morning.

Dee and his crew came and started working immediately. They were super quick and so nice. The whole thing took less than an hour and I was onto the rest of my day. I've had friends install indoor lighting for me in the past, but it always took a long time and ended up being stressful. Save yourself the headache if you're planning on attempting any lighting / electrical work yourself - call a professional!

Purchased a camera system with install from this company, everything seemed ok at first, until 5 months later the system stopped recording and monitor stopped working, I call the D about the issue and D came out to repair, he said that he could not repair and that I would need a new monitor, I then stated that I only had this system for less than six months, is there a warranty, he said no, so I got a new monitor, he came back out and said well its not the monitor you need a hew HDMI cable ok so I purchased a new cable, he then said well its not the cable, its the receiver box, He then sent me a quote after about 3 weeks of waiting, also stating that he forgot about me and that's why it took so long.
He quoted me a price for an entire new system plus installation of over $1200... WTF I just spent that on a system that didn't even last 6 months.

I really wanted to like this company because I have so many things that I need done.

I wont be using this company again.

I always like to make sure contractors are efficient with smaller jobs before hiring them for larger ones... Armstrong Lighting/ALS proved to me that I can trust them with larger projects in the future. The lighting professional was fast, efficient, thorough and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. Although he finished the job quickly, I didn't feel like he rushed though it. He also made sure the jobsite was clean upon leaving. On top of that, the pricing was great! I will definitely be referring Armstrong Lighting to all of my friends and family.

Great experience and very professional. Xavier came on a Saturday, because I wanted my front porch light and the light over the garage looked at since the lights did not work anymore. Xavier was very through in explaining that I could get a time switch so that the light could come on via a timer. Contacted Dee and he came and installed a dust to dawn light on the back of the house. Great work and very professional and very reasonably priced. Thanks fellas!

The best review that can be provided to a business that provides service is whether or not you intend to use them again. Dee from ALS is the consummate professional, very knowledgeable and courteous. He didn't leave until I was satisfied (he even asked if I was). I intend to his services again in rather near future.

I am a ""last minute"" customer... I called an spoke with Dee this morning and he was able to fit me into his schedule for a same day appointment. I requested to have two power outlets installed (about 8 feet high) on the wall, in addition to a cable outlet. This guy is customer focused and got the job done at a reasonable price!!!

I tried to put up a pendant light and like the boss i thought i was, unscrewed the thingamajig and it was a freaking recessed light under the pendant with the base of a bulb attached to the old one and....look...it was a hot mess. I contacted several electricians and Dee was one of the few that responded very quickly and he was able to come out quickly and by the weekend, the light is up and looks amazing.
He was very personable and knew what he was doing. So good that we might be using him for the next fixture replacements or heck, any electrical repairs we might need in the future. Thanks Dee!
