We shopped several companies and had numerous estimates done before we chose Armstrong to replace our 4 AC units. It's huge investment so we were worried about getting the best balance among quality products, great service and excellent results. Armstrong wasn't the cheapest but they were close and we felt good about them from the start.
We definitely made the right choice!
Not only did they do what they said they would, they did it ahead of schedule, didn't make a mess and even took care of a leak issue from one old units even though it was outside what was covered my the original quote. Can't recommend them enough.

I stand by my original review.I would expect you to get defensive but everything I said was true.You wanted to sell me a new unit without offering me a repair option and I wasnt biting.You can sugar coat all you want,but I would never call or recommend you again.

Every time I've dealt with someone from Armstrong they are professional, honest and always reliable. I've dealt with several HVAC companies in Central Florida and will not stray from Armstrong after finding them. From their sales manager Tom to my most recent service tech Matt, always top notch service.

For the past four years I've been dealing with AC issues but just last week my AC went completely out and as you know living in Orlando Florida the weather is very hot right now. I was at loss knowing what to do and after making many calls to different people a friend recommended Armstrong air and heating in Winter Garden. I called a gentleman by the name of Tom and he came over right away gave us an estimate and we had a new AC put in the next day. Tom and his team were amazing and I just love my new AC unit! The house is so cool now!! I highly recommend Armstrong air and heating they made this difficult process very easy. Thank you guys so much!

After 20 years our existing AC system needed repairs that were too high to justify so we needed to replace it. Our first quote was from our existing AC service company, they quoted 4 models from 14-15 SEER, the higher quotes were for Carrier models, the lower ones for a more generic models.

At the suggestion of a friend who works in home construction, we contacted Tom at Armstrong. He gave us a quote for the same 15 SEER Carrier that was lower than what the other company wanted for the 14 SEER generic model. This was without mentioning our friend's name or the other quotes we had, just their standard pricing. The Armstrong quote also included a wi-fi thermostat which was an extra cost upgrade with the other company.

We contracted with Armstrong and they set an installation date/time to fit our schedule, and the system installation went smoothly, which no issues.

Everybody we dealt with was helpful and professional from the initial contact through installation and we had absolutely no problems during the process.

That was about a month ago, and the system has been working fine.

Appt set six months ago and prepaid for the service. They called up a week ago to confirm. Closed my business to be home the whole afternoon. They never showed up. Called them to ask where they were. Said they called my cell which wasn't true.

Is very hard to receive the news that you have to replace your AC. That was me last January. Right after the holidays when money is tight. I started my research and calling friends and family for recomendations as well as my internet research. Armstrong Air & Heating was one of the companies i was referred to by one of my neighbors. To make you the story short i received quotes that went from $2,800 to $7,800 for the same issue. It was so frustrating that everyone will tell me something different and I didn't know who to trust. I am definitely not an AC expert and as a single mom there is always a concern to be an easy target for someone that wants to take advantage of you.

Tom Hyatt came to my house and all my fears and worries went away. I felt treated with respect and specially i felt i was being told the truth. Tom was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything is very simple terms so i will understand. He also did his best to offer the right unit that will cover my needs and didn't try to sell me on something more expensive or unnecessary. He asked question about how long I planed to stay in my property and what kind of warranty i wanted to increase the resell cost of my house. At the end, Armstrong was not the cheapest or the most expensive but was the only one that gave me the confidence to invest my money wisely.

The following week Armstrong's team of installers came over to install the equipment. Two very well mannered younger gentleman arrived on time at 7:00 am and started working right away. The did an outstanding job taking care of every little detail. They even swept my floors before leaving. They took care of everything and they were done by 5 pm. That is what i call ""Same Day service""

I am very happy with my purchase, my AC runs great in the cold and now the heat. I can even control it on my phone. I am very pleased and happy and I will recommend Armstrong, Tom and his team to anyone.

Armstrong was the sub who did the HVAC in my new house, and I have to say they are the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. I would have ""fired"" them by now, BUT, I'm not paying them and I was stuck by my builder with them to service my HVAC warranty.

Not only was my house delayed several times due to it failing HVAC inspection from the city inspectors, when I had my own personal home inspector, he commented that while the ducts were finally ""to code"", it was the ""shoddiest job he'd ever seen"". Now that I've been in my home nearly 2 years, I've found that that shoddy work really effected the function of my system. I've had ducts fall apart and just blow air in my attic, balancing issues out the wazoo (my office is about 9 degrees colder than my bedroom) even though they've come out to rebalance twice, and the list goes on...

They came out to fix one thing, and caused even more problems. To the point where I had water steaming out the ducts and down the wall. I'm just waiting for the mold to grow...because they also haven't been able to figure out why my house is so incredibly humid (there's always condensation on my windows).

My neighbors all have similar issues. It's ridiculous.

The one saving grace is their customer service girl/scheduler--and that's why I give them 2 stars-- she's awesome, but their technicians leave much to be desired.
