I hired Daniel in an effort to help the relative of a friend I used to work with to replace my main electric panel and upgrade it to 125 amps with follow up work afterwards. Having worked with electricians for almost 20 years I have to say this was the worst experience I've ever had in dealing with a ""contractor"".

1. He failed to give me a written estimate.

2. Several times I had to offer suggestions to make the job easier and more efficient for him or to stop him from making a mistake as it appeared to me he didn't know what he was doing.

3. He disconnected all of the original breakers without labeling each wire as I had done on the old panel door. I still have two circuits he hasn't labeled and I have no idea what they power.

4. He damaged a tree in front trying to hand bend a 1-1/4"" piece of rigid conduit between two limbs and ignored the hunk of bark he broke off without comment.

5. He installed incorrect parts. I chose to buy some of the proper replacements and install myself or give to him to show him how to use them.

6. He failed to tell me I had to install sheetrock or paneling inside behind the panel to pass inspection.

7. The original inspection failed and he was forced to reinstall the main panel a second time.

8. He refused to follow all the County Inspectors requests when inspections failed, and he lied to me about it even though I witnessed them not being done.

9. When he tried to show me how to stucco around the new panel he only made things worse. And then he joked about being the most expensive stucco person around.

10. After installing an outdoor receptacle under the panel he told me I'd now have to move my side gate so it could close. But that was not true and I wonder why he didn't check before installing it.

11. I spent a lot of time cleaning up after his work and had to tear out the stucco I installed around the new panel and stucco twice because he failed the inspection.

12. While his assistant (an ex-houseframer with a large hammer...) pulled romeex under the house he dislodged HVAC ducting from the furnace trying to crawl over it and didn't repair it.

13. I had to request an actual invoice after I paid him because he never sent a bill.

14. I texted him twice, and after no reply in over a week, I called and left a message asking him to return to ID the two circuits and finish part of the job he agreed to do.

15. He did return my phone message with a call-but then hung up on me without a word. I recently left another message that I was leaving a bad YELP review but still I have not heard from him.

16. An adult with good business sense would have attempted to remedy the situation.

17. I wouldn't trust this young man to change batteries in a flashlight at this point.

He is no longer welcome on my property EVER AGAIN.

We live nearby and drove by their sign. Finally called for service to fix problems botched by other electricians, and they solved it! Now we have our electrician of choice.

I am so pleased with Arietta Electric. Daniel gave me such a good price on wiring my barn, guest house and hot tub, installation on new fans and fixtures for my main house. He was quick and worked weekends when he could to get it done for me. Thank you for all the hard work!

Daniel has done extensive work at my home. He has installed fans and light fixtures. He has done extensive outdoor wiring for our new gate, lighting and cat 5 wiring. I have a lot more work for him. I feel he is affordable, trust worthy, professional and does excellent work. I highly recommend him. If you need electrical work...Arietta Electric is the company you need to use.

Daniel was condescending, an hour late and unable to even open the panel door when he came to give an estimate. I continually had to follow up with him and when I requested a specific panel and circuit breakers his response was "" I prefer cutler hammer"" and ""Friedman's carries it"". I told him if he can't install GE or Square D then I will be going with another contractor.

He insisted on getting the last word and writing back just to say (copied and pasted directly from his email), ""You should of been specific about what panel and breakers you want before someone give you a quote"".

Daniel responded within a day to come out and give a quote on misc. electrical
needs, including installing ceilng fans indoor and outdoor. And gave us the idea to install landscape lighting. He finished. In 3 days and worked on our schedules. Very detail oriented cleaned up... We highly recommend his company.
