Would never recommend this company! He worked for my neighbor and blocked my driveway so I could not exit. I simply asked if he could move his truck, his response was ""I am working, I'll be done in 45 minutes."" I said again, "" excuse me sir but I need you to move your truck"" he then began saying he was working again and walking around his truck. I explained there is no need to be disrespectful but I need to leave my own driveway and there is plenty of room to park at the homeowners home. He then gives me his business card and tells me to ""complain to his boss, go ahead and give him a call and tell and tell him how disrespectful I am."" He is the owner of this company John Kilgour and on fb. I grew up here, own many rentals and would NEVER recommend this piece if work!

Have had a problem for over a month. Tried two other electricians, neither of which could get my power going again. Found Aries on the internet and gave them a try. John came out, very professional, wore his mask, was very safety conscious. Took awhile of tracing but found the problem and it was fixed rapidly.

He was able to schedule an appointment with me within a few working days of my first call, which was mostly about a light fixture that sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. John troubleshooted the issue with much efficiency and resolved it with same. The price was right and well worth the peace of mind of having the problem resolved by a true professional. John K. provided me with one of the best experiences I ever had with an electrician. I had two experiences with John:

The first experience was when I was trying to resolve an electrical issue by removing a breaker which I had switched off individually (but not the whole panel) and blew the whole panel and nearly electrocuted myself! I thought the whole panel was fried and was in a panic. John promptly came to my rescue and quickly concluded that the panel was likely OK and the main breaker was just ""stuck"" in the trip position. He had to apply tremendous force (guess its good if you're an electrician to be strong) and reset the breaker and everything came back on. John was great at explaining what he was doing while he was doing it and I appreciated his noting that he was trying to resolve things in the most cost-effective manner. I had of course fried the individual breaker I had been working on and had to replace it before he could help me more. I then did some more troubleshooting on my own with my still unresolved electrical issue before realizing I had to have him come out again.

The second experience when he returned was equally impressive. I advised of all the troubleshooting in the house I had done and when he revisited the outside breaker box he ""heard"" something was wrong (I initially heard nothing). Once again he explained while he: diagnosed and fixed the problem (corrosion in the breaker box); came up with an inexpensive solution (which he guaranteed for a year with respect to any next home visit base cost); and explained next options (in cost-effectiveness order) if necessary.

Electrical issue resolved and I cannot recommend John K. highly enough!

John show up on time, actually early. Easy to work with, diagnosed unworking GFI outlets, turns out they were on a hidden switch so no repair required. Replaced a ceiling fan. He is very thorough, has a pleasant attitude, and after 1.5 hours, charged me only $85 for the fan installation. I would hire him again for other electrical problems.

Even made an extra trip out to make sure I was happy. He found a faulty breaker, and did some wiring and outlet work. I wish he did other stuff. He'd be the only one Guy i called for everything. HVAC, plumbing, stucco repair...or even a simple light bulb. Thanks John!!
