Aren Electric did an excellent job a few weeks ago updating some electrical stuff at my mothers Eichler in the Highlands in San Mateo. We hired Gerry from Aren Electric to replace our service box and we could not have been happier with the results. From the first time we spoke over the phone he correctly diagnosed the issue and what needed to be done. His knowledge of the houses up and down the peninsula was evident right from the start. He was everything you would want in an electrician: professional, thorough, honest, kind, reliable, and patient. To make sure we had power at the end of everyday (it was a 3 day project overall) he actually stayed late a couple times but didn't complain. He just kept working to make sure we wouldn't be freezing our tails off when we went to sleep. He takes prise in his work and stands by it 100%. His pricing was very fair and competitive and transparent. He also respectfully covered his shoes every time he entered the house - may not be a big thing in the grand scheme, but much appreciated nevertheless. It was a pleasure to work with him.

Gerry is simply amazing!!! He is a very nice, polite, friendly, family man and dedicated to his job. He is very knowledgeable in his field, and we felt very comfortable with him.

We realized that the upstairs of our house was not grounded. So Gerry came over and gave us three options with great prices to choose from. We decided to go with the GFI. Gerry spent two days at our house and replaced 18 outlets. Our wires were very old, and he even took the time to wrap each wire in tape for extra protection. He was detailed, and extremely careful not to leave any marks on our walls. Everything was done perfectly. We are so happy because NOW we have a reliable and trustworthy electrician for life.

I found Gerry on Diamond Certified, all excellent reviews; checked Yelp, excellent. It isn't easy finding someone you can trust and who is really good, and this was for my elderly mother's house. He did a great, thorough job, was very nice both on the phone and in person, punctual, obviously knew what he was doing. On top of that, he was kind enough to write down everything he did and explained things my brother could easily do to save us money, and then said if my brother had any questions, just give him a call and he'd talk to him over the phone. I'll be giving Gerry's contact info to my friends in that area for sure.

I called Gerry Reyes of Aren Electric Company, Inc. after my wife read a review on Yelp, and out of the few people I interviewed he seemed to know the most about the rules in the city in which we live and the work he was going to do.

I cannot say enough good things about him. He was on time for all our appointments, which in this day and age is amazing. He took me to look at similar work in the area and it was all done well. What I needed done was to have an upgrade to our power panel from 15 amps to 150 amps. He also had to re-route some connections, installing conduit, and he replaced a pipe that connects to the PG&E connection.
He showed up on time every day and at the end of the day cleaned up any mess that was made. He checked all the outlets, lights and breakers, and created labels for the breakers so we would know what each one controls. He was there for the city inspections which we easily passed. He finished the project on time and on budget, which does not usually happen, so we were very pleased.

We would highly recommend Gerry for any electrical work that you need done. Feel free to ask for a reference from us any time.
