I had Brian and Chris install an electric car charger at our house. Brian was prompt coming over and telling me what needed to be done, and Chris was also right on time and finished the work in the exact amount of time he estimated. The installation is faultless and exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend them and will be using them as my standard service from now on!

I could not have been happier about my experience with Brian and Archbold Electric. He responded quickly to my call, and was able to fit into my somewhat difficult schedule (due to the fact that I was working around renters that were coming and going). He made a number of suggestions that were immensely helpful and then did the work quickly and at what I felt was a really reasonable cost. Recently installed a DIY hot tub and needed all the electrical hook up done and outlets installed for the accessories. Chris shows up on time, was polite, smart, hard working and just a nice guy. I first contacted Brian a few years ago to fix a kitchen outlet that didn't work. Another time he replaced a bathroom fan and rewired it because the dingleberry who originally installed it used lamp wire. I recently had Brian and his crew do all the electrical on our home remodel. He quoted a fair price and he and his crew worked quickly. His work is so neat and organized. He even labeled every wire at the outlet boxes! Wow! He then got rid of the knob and tube that we were no longer using. He always has a cheerful attitude and is great at advising me on electrical products -- even recommending the type of heated flooring I should get in my bathroom. He knows all the latest products. We made a couple of small changes but that was no problem -- he took care of it with a good attitude. He is very trustworthy and conscientious. I will definitely use him in the future and recommend him to everyone. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

We were in need of some rewiring in the attic ahead of a HVAC installation. Brian was quick to respond to a general quote request through Yelp and came out a couple of days later to give a more comprehensive quote. He thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done and gave us a cost-competitive quote (compared to 3-4 other companies). He also highlighted another issue with the electrical in the attic (a potential fire hazard) and included a fix to this problem in his quote. When he returned on the day of the HVAC installation we realized that there had been some miscommunication in the original quote as the job at hand was actually larger than anticipated. Brian was however very flexible and gave us a sharply discounted price on the spot for the additional work that was needed. We very generally very happy with Brian's work and the HVAC contractor also told us it had been a pleasure to work with Brian.

When dealing with power surges and humming in the light fixture when using my hair-dryer at the same time, along with a myriad of other little electrical oddities, I would like to say that Brian had excellent trouble-shooting skills. He was able to assess my situation in a timely fashion as well as make recommendations that were resourceful and helpful. He was able to help resolve my issues right away. He is also very prompt and thorough in his response times. I would use him again for sure.

I've been meaning to write a review based on my recent experience when Brian. He came to my house to inspect some potential suspect electrical after we had two new appliances malfunction. He was prompt, very thorough, honest and incredibly personable. The personable part isn't as important as other attributes, but it's nice to find an electrician who is knowledgeable, experienced and nice :)

After about 15 minutes of inspecting our service panel and PG&E connections, he was fairly certain that the problem was on the power company's end and not because of our in home electric. He was right, but insisted upon inspecting our inside panel and the connections behind the dryer. All this was done in less than one billable hour. He even made the call to PGE to get some to our house asap. If you want someone who does their due diligence, knows what they are doing, is honest, AND is nice, call Archbold Electric!

I had a bit of a problem because my large GE oven was installed improperly and only the 110 work but it was not hooked up with the 220 so I looked on yelp and discovered Archbold electric here. He answered on the third ring and was able to come out the same DAY.
You can't get better than that!

Excellent service from Brian. Saturday morning, half the power in our home was out and we were desperate for help. Brian was the first to respond that he was available and came out within the hour. No other electricians were able to come out. He was professional, identified the problem, explained everything, resolved the issue quickly and the price was reasonable. He will be the first we call in the future. Thank you Brian!

Brian was able to fix my light switch problem in less than an hour, and charged less than other electricians. I texted him a picture of the light switch, and he came to my house at the appointed time, new light switch in hand. He noticed that the color was a bit off so he went to the nearest hardware store to find a dimmer switch that would match better. He returned promptly and fixed my switch, all at a reasonable rate. I would recommend him.
