Today I was charged 85.00 for ten minutes. Nothing was broken; I live two blocks away from their store front and have been doing business with them for thirteen years. The new person stated he wasn't charging me more than 85.00 because he didn't fix anything. So I asked him a few questions as I wanted to get something for my money beside what I considered unfair because if it's 85.00 per hour and the guy spent ten minutes and didn't find that the outlet needed fixed, how was this charge fair? I called book keeping but they felt 85.00 for ten minutes and finding the outlet in question didn't need fixed was okay. Enjoy your 85.00 for ten minutes. This made me feel disrespected and devalued as a long term customer. Seems penny wise and pound foolish

No problems with the work, skills, etc. I would have rated 5 stars, but I was quoted specific figures for the service call and hourly rate. Technician came and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. The bill was now supposedly double the quoted costs. Why was that? Tech said this company starts charging you from the time they leave their shop to jobs end. Uhhh, NO. Does anyone get paid to drive to work? I can't think of anyone. If the call taker would have told me that when I asked about the fee schedules I would have gone with the other companies. Best to be up front about how you charge folks so they don't get hit with double the expected costs.
