Aqua Tech Electric performed all the new electrical for my pool renovation and new patio project. These guys are experts in their field! They are efficient, fast, clean up after themselves and most importantly they went the extra mile to make sure things are correct and that we were happy. The entire renovation project was managed through a pool builder, and they subbed the electric work out to Aqua Tech. After 16 months of still not being in our pool, we had to part ways with the pool contractor. This was after Aqua Tech completed all the work they needed to and we had moved on to next stage of the project. Since parting ways with the pool contractor, we had another outlet installed in the patio area for a new TV by a different electrician that was recommended to me by my AV guy. They did not waterproof the outlet properly so the first time a heavy rain came in, it shorted everything out on the patio, including what Aqua Tech had previously installed. That's when I called Ron Stone w/ Aqua Tech, explained to him who I was and what project they worked on for me (since he and I never spoke directly before) and asked if they would have a problem working with me directly. I explained to Ron what had happened with the new tv outlet out in by the other electrician, and I was concerned that he would tell me he was unwilling to touch it. But my concerns were for nothing because Ron happily agreed to work with me directly, and sent his crew out to resolve the issue for us within days. Later we realized our new Polaris pump installed by the pool contractor's plumber did not work. So, I called Ron again, and he saw that he never received a work order to cone hook up to the electric. Ron, sent someone out next day to take care of it for me! This week, the inspector came out to inspect the pool lights, And I could not figure out how to get them on. Once again, I called Ron and Left a detailed message and he answered me same day via email explaining that there would be a GFCI attached to the equipment box that was tied to our light that more than likely tripped when it rained, and sure enough, that was it. The point is, not only has Ron Stone been willing to work with me directly, he and his crews have repeatedly taken care of us during a very difficult and stressful time for us and they have done so in a friendly and timely manner to ensure we get our project complete and we can start enjoying our pool. Ron and team are awesome to work with and are my electricians of choice going forward for everything outside. I will not be going with anyone else but them in the future. Thank you so much Ron and Team!!!!
First and foremost, I am in the pool and spa industry with over 35 years experience. I am licensed and perform the majority off my electrical needs. That being said, whenever I run across an electrical issue on a pool that is outside of my licensing or comfort level, I rely on Aquatech Electric. I have sent them out to numerous customers as well as to my parents pool to re-run electric to the timers and light. They have always been professional, fairly price, and do the job right. I have read the reviews that have been left by other people and in my opinion, they are unfair reviews. Please keep in mind on pool and spa lighting, that most companies, not just Aquatech, prefer to replace the entire fixture, not just a bulb and gasket. Very few companies do ""just bulb and gasket"" replacement. I tell my customers that if I can't fix it... to call Aquatech every time. I have never had bad feedback from any of the customer's I have sent their way.
I am in the pool building industry for 30 years in Dallas. Aquatech Electric is one of the best swimming pool electrical installers in the DFW market. They have a firm grasp of manufacturer specifications, local and national codes. Their install crews are capable, clean and efficient. I highly recommend them.
Scary experience with the company....would never use them because of this. Whomever was driving their truck had road rage we got out of their way and he tailgated us into another lane. As we were two females in the car this was terrifying and makes me concerned that this was happening in a work truck. Please consider who you have representing your company in the community. Attempted to call number in the side of the truck no answer and went straight to voicemail.
Worst Customer Service Ever.
Not answering the phone.
Not showing up on time.
No invoice and asking for cash.
Seems real shady.
I made an appointment with Aquatech to replace my pool light bulbs. Aquatech came to my home charged me $125.00 service fee recommended that I replace all 3 pool lights. 2 because they had moisture in them and one because it was ""old."" The yold one was working fine. I had asked the technician to check the bulbs and he told me there was no need. The cost of the repair was $1200.00. I had the gaskets and bulbs replaced in the two lights that were out and now my pool lights are fully functional. Total cost of repair $75.00. I was being sold repairs that I clearly did not need. When I called the office to respectfully ask that my service fee be returned since they did not do what I requested, which was to change the light bulbs. The office manager was rude, defensive and belittling. I left message for owner and asked offfice manager to ask owner to call me. No one has returned my call. I would not use this company again. They did not do what I asked when I made the appointment or when they came to my house. I might not be a certified electrician but I do know that you try to change the light bulb before you replace the fixture.
