APJV Electric was our assigned contractor through our home warranty (First American Home Warranty).
Scope of work was to replace our bathroom Bluetooth exhaust fan. APJV dragged out the process for over 5 months and didn't get anything done. All they had to do was order the part and install it. I'm convinced they never ordered it even though they kept saying week after week that they did, but it was ""back ordered"" and hasn't been delivered yet.
After complaining to First American Home Warranty for months, they finally assigned us a new contractor. The new contractor was able to order the part and install it within 4 business days. The part arrived in 3 business days and the actual installation only took 25 min.
I have no idea why APJV lied for over 5 months. If you don't want to do the work, just say that and move on.
Avoid this business at all costs as they have no problems lying about the work.

We hired APJV Electric to do some electrical work. Juan did a shotty job. After we paid in full, we needed them to come back out and they were totally unresponsive. They would not come back out to their fix work. No follow up, no ownership. Think before hiring this company!

I was told on the phone that they have service scheduled up north on the same day and their guy can stop by to look at the problem. ( fuse trips often) He just looked in the panel went outside and said he will take a look if covered by insurance. He said he will call me back but no call returned. And I paid deductible with first American and nothing happened.

They called me within 5 mins of making my new claim with first American. So 5 stars for responsiveness. Now we'll see how they treat the problem. Fingers crossed

I can't believe this electric company is still in business. Just as others stated, they are Dishonest and ultimately incompetent. Let me preface with my electric issue. I have 2 front porch recessed lighting (can lighting in ceiling) and 1 front light fixture. When I turn the lights on, only the first light comes on, not the second or front light fixture. So my first inclination is the wiring from the first light has been degraded and not jumping live power to the other 2 lights. Now, to the reasons...
I say this for many reasons:
1- this company mostly handles contracted work from home warranties (this is their first and foremost way of revenue and business) so that should be my/your first warning flag.
2- as soon as the electrician shows up, I already got the feeling that his ""electrical"" skills are not up to par. He's constantly saying, ""hmm, that's weird"" or ""that doesn't make sense"". I should have known. He then begins to make numerous phone calls (probably to a true electrician).
After about 10 minutes (I think he/they finally decide they do NOT want to perform the work), he states that, ""yes, it's the wiring up above, it needs to be replaced"". So we both discuss what the issue is and that's how he's going to write it up. A week and a half goes by and I don't hear anything from anybody. So, I look on my home warranty site (First American Home Warranty- I have another multiple review on them as well, as they are the WORST as well) and they state the service call is closed and completed. WHAT?!?!?!
So when I finally call them, they state that APJV Electric wrote in the report that, ""all wiring is good and power is good, but it is the fixture that is not sending power"". WHAT!??!?!? And of course ""light fixtures"" are not covered, even though my issue is the wiring itself in the ceiling. APJV Electric only wants to take the easy, smooth and not time consuming jobs- all other work, they would rather falsify their report knowing the Home Warranty Companies will deny the claim.
So I relay to First American that is not the truth and let me call/speak to APJV Electric. This company comes off as unprofessional and incompetent- that is dishonest and trying to get and take the easy money from people and the home warranty companies.
DO NOT Conduct any business with this shady company.

One of your drivers veered into my lane, with no signal. Thankfully, an accident did not occur.

This company was hired through American Home Warranty. The worker comes to my family's home bright and early, which was a surprise; however, the worker brought no Personal protection equipment. No face mask or gloves and his work shoes were filthy. I ask him to at least go to Home Depot to get shoe covers and he says, ""I don't have time."" Home Depot is two miles away. No protection equipment during a pandemic?

I had Juan for a job scheduled with my home warranty. He was so professional over the phone and called me one day before if I wanted him to stop by that day. I shared my concerns about the issue I had with the bathroom fans and that I didn't want to get anything done with me giving an ok. Juan was pleasantly nice and understanding, thankfully the issue was a super easy fix for both bathroom fans. Thank you for your honesty and professionalism Juan

Absolutely horrible owner. Driver was on phone stopping traffic on the freeway. Called owner and was told I was lying. Owner then accused me of speeding past him. The van then went flying by doing 90 mph, only to cut everyone off and continue at 50 mph. Very rude owner and unsafe driver. Can only imagine how they treat their customers.

This company was sent out by my home warranty and I was very pleased with them overall. I had no problems with scheduling an appointment, even with them working with my tight schedule. They were able to come out earlier than my set appointment time, came out and fixed the issue right away. Contrary to other Yelp reviews, The two gentleman who came out were very friendly and were very kind to answer all my questions. I will definitely be calling them back for future work outside of the home warranty claim.
