I called to better understand the process for updating our electrical system (going from 100A to 200A) and George was extremely kind and thorough in sharing his opinion. Essentially, instead of seizing an opportunity to work on a project that would be over 10k dollars, he counseled us in a different direction that would not result in any immediate electrical work need. Damian was our technician and he was incredible! We had a couple other electricians from a different company come by before and they basically couldn't fix a simple wiring issue that was causing the circuit to trip. Damian diagnosed the issue in a few minutes, ran out to get the parts he needed, and completed the repair super quick! We have had no issues since Damian fixed this for us about 3 months ago (previously this was a weekly issue). So grateful for his help!

I've used APG Electric before but George was extremely helpful this weekend when my AC unit went out during this record breaking heatwave (a week of 100°+ temperatures). I replaced the filter, flipped the breaker for the AC, looked inside the fan unit outside to see if there was an obstruction, unplugged it to see if it would help reset it, and replaced the hallway thermostat because the display was off. It still wasn't working. It was impossible to get an HVAC company out because they were overwhelmed with appointments so I called APG Electric hoping they could help. George called me back and after giving him the rundown of what I had already tried, he told me to look at the fuse. He said the thermostat gets its power from the unit, so it could explain why the thermostat's display wasn't working. Guess what? It was the fuse. Yes! What an easy fix. I appreciate George's help since I would really prefer not to spend hundreds of dollars for someone to come out just to replace a $15 part. But even more, I was able to get my AC unit back up and running without suffering in the heat until an HVAC company could come out next week to look at it. Thanks George!

My dryer stopped heating a few days ago and when the technician came to take a look, he said the problem was electrical. After opening up the panel and seeing some melting at a couple points....The fear mounted every moment as I saw the dollar signs piling up from my own speculation. I called around and it was difficult to even find someone who could come right away. George came to my rescue the day after I called. He explained everything really well and got me up and running in less than an hour! It also didn't cost me anywhere near what I thought it would and we no longer have a fire hazard. At 82 years old and a business property owner, I have plenty of experience dealing with the trades. When it comes to electrical contractors, George Moskoff with APG Electric is the best I've experienced. None of the other electrical companies that submitted bids responded as quickly as APG; none noted any of the Code violations; and none provided the level of bid detail of APG/George. If you want prompt, reliable, and honest service with reasonable rates, then APC Electric is an obvious choice.
