This place makes me doubly sad that all the good electrical supply houses in the city that were open to the public failed to survive the pandemic. As far as residential goes, they just don't stock a whole lot of anything that you can't get from the Home Depot Pro in Colma and the fact that the counter is always completely deserted suggests to me that this information is not exactly a secret.

I can see coming here if you need to load up an entire truck full of EMT that's on the verge of rusting or if you really just wanted to pay full MSRP for an older model Fluke clamp in a faded, dusty box, but if you're looking for a particular bonding bushing or the handle ties you cannot legally install any multi-wire branch circuit without, don't bother. You'll just stand there like an idiot for ten minutes waiting for some dude to wander over and tell you they don't carry anything like that. McMaster's wire prices are comparable enough that I can't see myself ever bothering with this drive again unless it was a dire emergency.

A little off the beaten path but that's also what gives them the space to be able to carry all the stuff they do and sell it at the prices they do. I found staff to be extremely helpful and they had exactly what I needed. I always check with them first when looking for electrical stuff

I went to these people who are experts in electrical supplies to purchase some LED 4 foot lights I explained what fixtures I needed they sold me what they thought was the right Lights upon trying to install them, they were definitely the wrong lights when I went back to tell them they said no problem they would give me the money back, they wanted me to fill out on a piece of 8 x 11 sheet of paper all my credit card information which I thought was unprofessional then the guy said give me your information and I'll send you a check for $12.51 two and a half weeks later I called them they haven't mailed it out yet very unprofessional company I would never do business with them again. Very unprofessional and lots of excuses. Still waiting for my money.

The nicest people work here. Seriously, every darn one of them was nice and helpful, and in my opinion doubly so as I'm not an electrician nor a contractor coming in with a big order, I'm just an old lady with a busted aquarium light.

My aquarium lights' ballast died. I'd buy a whole new lid but the tank is an odd shape, so I gotta keep that lid and replace the ballast, right? I did this same thing the previous time the ballast died in this lid by buying the part from the lone company in all of the Bay Area that carried this brand of aquarium but no go this year: the retail arm of that aquarium store closed down and I didn't know what kind of alternative replacement I should look for plus I'm all the way up by SFO and not down south in my home town because like a fool I drove all the way up to the now-closed aquarium store without calling first. Did I mention I needed to get lights back over that aquarium ASAP? It's a planted tank, not a goldfish bowl with rainbow gravel and plastic plants. My real plants need light.

Enter Siri, who told me All Industrial Electric Supply was near by. I start driving over and then think ""With that kind of name, they probably don't sell to the public."" So I call, and explain my predicament to the incredibly nice woman who answered the phone and she tells me, ""Not a problem, just come over.""

So I wander into their will-call area, there's a counter back there and Tony is manning the counter and wow, he's also incredibly nice. He took a look at the lid and the light and the busted ballast, figured out what would work (and even more importantly, what would fit because we're talking about a tiny narrow space in an aquarium lid for this ballast), printed out a wiring diagram for me, put all my bits and pieces of my aquarium lid into a nice sturdy box and even carried it all out to my car.

On top of all that, I was blown away that they had this part in stock, right there and waiting for me to buy and take home today. The previous time that the ballast died in this lid, I took it to a local high end lamp shop for repair. The lamp shop had my lid on their repair bench for two months trying to locate the right part before I gave up on waiting and took the lid back, still with its dead ballast.

While Tony was pulling the part from their cavernous warehouse (seriously, envision the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark) and later while he was printing out the diagram, no fewer than 6 other employees walked by the counter and every single one of them smiled and asked me if I was being taken care of.

To which I can only say, yes, you all took very good care of me. Thank you Tony and the rest of the crew at All Industrial Electric, you is good people.

I go here for the best pricing and service. It's rare to get both at the same place but that's what I get from All Industrial !! Zack / Nick / Dillon make up my A Team there.
