This company is horrible! We had an appt for 1. Never received a confirmation which they said we would receive. Had to call them back at 1:30pm and they said they would get someone to call us back, never heard from them. On the third call, she said she would get someone to call us back. They finally called back, asked our electrical issue, told us we needed to call a electrician cause it's beyond their capabilities! But I told them our electrical issue in the initial call. Waited around since 8am to hear that BS!!!! Yeah, they're terrible. DO NOT USE!!! Big Waste of time!

I am really glad that I started using Yelp to determine which companies I would use for services. Cornelius is the electrician that came to my house. He was professional, informative and very courteous. He did an electrical repair that day, however; I have a lot of work that needs to be done and I am waiting until my breaker box is update (HOA managed), and then will certainly choose this company to be the one to make my upgrades and repairs.
I am happy that they do discuss costs and alternatives. I did feel that this was very honest business dealing and will always choose them.

They don't even deserve one star I called at 9am which is Wednesday same day told me an electrician would be at my house between 3-4pm I called at 430pm main number the girl said the electrician was delayed by one hour would be at my house next he was tied and would call when on the way -- 7:30pm I called their was an different voice on the phone i asked if the scheduled 3pm electrician was still on his way to my house because it was 7:30pm and nobody had called or shown up he laughed and said I quote ""opps we forgotten to tell u nobody is coming out to ur house today how does Saturday between 2-4pm
Sound?"" I said sir today is Wednesday and I have been at home since 3pm waiting for an electrician to come out and it's now 7:30pm
And when I called earlier at 4:30 pm u said somebody is on their way now u can't come till
Saturday from 2-4pm he laughed and said yes ..... What kind of business are u running to have a customer waiting all day then the customer call and u tell me u forgot about the call and u can't come out till
3 days later --- What BS - and laugh on the phone - worst company ever DO NOT UsE

Overall I was very happy with my service from Anytime Electric although I think their pricing needs to be more transparent, more uniform, and/or better explained to the customer.
We have one recessed light in our kitchen that turns itself on and off every 3 to 4 minutes and it is extremely annoying! There are 4 lights on the switch and just that one light does this. We have ignored it for the last 2 years we've been in our house but I decided to finally see about getting it fixed. I called Anytime Electric around 11:00 a.m and they were able to fit me in the same day and gave me a window of 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Love the promptness! The girl on the phone said I would receive an automated text message when the technician was on his way so I was caught a bit by surprise when the doorbell rang without ever having received any text message. Since it was 2:00 in the afternoon I really should have been out of my nightgown, lol, but I wasn't, so after I answered the door and the technician went to the truck to get his ladder and supplies I ran upstairs to change into clothes! So don't count on the promised text message!
Cornelius was able to explain and fix the problem pretty quickly. A ballast had worn out and he basically just cut it out and twisted the wires back together. And that was that - I'm happy to finally have it fixed! However, in my opinion the girl on the phone explained the pricing scheme and trip charge incorrectly. There is a $70-something trip charge (minus $33 discount for mentioning yelp!) and she said basic fixes would be included in this fee and that if any work above and beyond that fee was required then the technician would give me an estimate and have me approve the charge. That did not happen. I left Cornelius to take a look and see what he could do and he eventually called me back in and said it was fixed and it would be $50-something dollars plus the trip charge. I told him that I was told I would be able to approve any charges first and that the work he did in the course of his inspection was included in the trip charge. He said yes, you are right, I should have done that. I didn't end up making a big deal about it and just paid because I felt that the total price including my yelp discount ($100 even) was reasonable for a professional electrician.

These guys are great! I had an underground power cable that needed to be replaced. Anytime electric coordinated everything with the Centerpoint Energy and all the required permits and inspections. The work was clean, professional and timely, despite the rock hard clay soil that they had to dig through to place the new power line. I highly recommend anytime Electric.
