Alen came out and did a grate job of running 2 lines (30 and 60 amp) for our new electric water heater and electric car charger. I needed a licensed electrician to install a new dedicated circuit on the sub-panel in my condo unit for a new 240V outlet (to accommodate a new electric ventless dryer that I recently purchased); the panel was about 12 feet away from where the outlet needed to be installed, and as I discovered, running the new wires between the panel and the new outlet was going to be a challenge. Among the six different electricians I requested estimates from, five said that they would need to open up many holes in my walls and ceiling to run the new wires; some of them also told me they would have to upgrade my subpanel (adding even more to the total cost). Alen (the experienced electrician who runs Antex Electric) had a better solution: install a new circuit on the existing panel, and run a wire through an existing conduit that was right next to the space where the new outlet had to be installed. Other electricians told me that this was a nice idea, but that it would be impossible to accomplish in practice. Well lo and behold, today Alen did it--in less than three hours. The man is nothing short of a genius. He did exactly what was needed, but no more--saving me not only hundreds of dollars in electrician and equipment fees, but also hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars in patching and painting work. He has many, many years of experience, but he is also an honest, ethical, and highly creative problem-solver. The man is pure magic. If you need an electrical job done right, at a reasonable price, Alen at Antex Electric is the man for the job.
