I had a new issue with my Briggs & Stratton standby generator after the installation of a surge protector. It would not complete an exercise cycle which was an unusual issue. The company sent Russell Lumpkin, service technician, out to solve the problem. Which he did. The generator has worked flawlessly since then. Again, I highly recommend Anderson Power Services and their quality employees.

Anderson was wonderful to work with. We spoke with another company about installing a generator and they really pushed a much more expensive generator. When the representative from Anderson came out, they spent time with us to find out what kind of things we would need if we had an outage (with a high possibility of an extended outage due to our location).
They made a suggestion and we went with it. The install was fast and professional. We pay them yearly to service the generator and keep the warranty active.
We have lost power several times since our install, and have have never been disappointed in the performance of the generator we installed. We can run the HVAC system, security system, wash/dry clothes, keep the lights and TV on and keep all the critters in the house comfortable (including us!).
I'd highly recommend them.

Alex and his crew were great! They installed a whole home generator for us and did a great job. Alex was a great communicator, timely and available. An install like this is not simple, and often not without hiccups, but the team handled it great and were on top of the process each step of the way. Towards the end, they really hustled to bring the project to a successful completion. Thanks guys!

Anderson Power is the best!
They have been on top of everything from start to finish. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and very detailed. The install was even better. The guys were so respectful and even planted a few new flowers around the area where they were working!! I They walked me through the entire install and a week later I lost power and my 70kw kicked in perfectly right away. Super happy with everyone at Anderson Power. I look forward to you guys servicing my unit for the years to come!

Anderson installed a Generac 22kw generator at our house on 7/24/2018. Alex and Jack handled the installation; they were professional, punctual, polite, and communicative throughout the installation process. They also took the time to walk me through how the generator operates, how to know it's operating correctly, and how to coordinate routine maintenance with Anderson. I also liked the option of setting up wi-if monitoring so Anderson can monitor the unit to make sure its operating correctly. Overall I came away from the experience very confident that I made the right choice in not only choosing a Generac generator but also in having Anderson install and maintain it.

Best company ever. Their service is top notch. I had my stand by generator needing service and their technician was so knowledgeable, friendly, professional. He showed up right on time was so helpful with all my questions and went above and beyond. He did a fantastic job and left my unit looking better than when he got here.

If I could do zero stars I would. We didn't even get to the appointment stage with Anderson. We called to re-confirm our appointment for (tomorrow) Nov. 3rd and referred to the email confirmation number we had received. The company said we were ""double booked"" and couldn't come to the appt. No apologies, no explanation how it happened, no attempt to keep our business and no offer to re-schedule. Her only excuse was ""We only have two sales people, and we've had so many calls in the past month we just can't keep up."" You'd think that would be a light bulb moment for them to hire more people???

I had a standby generator installed at my mothers home in Hiawassee GA. Anderson Power took over the maintenance contract after the first year. every time in 2017 she has lost power the generator has failed to operate. When they come for a service call they are never able to complete the repair so they get you for an additional trip. they either do not stock any repair parts are they use the excuse that they have to order and wait on the parts or pay to expedite. They refuse to communicate with the customer as requested. Always have to call them several times to get answers because they do not return calls.

Be aware of what your maintenance agreement does not cover
I have been a customer of Anderson Power for well over 13 years and have been under a maintenance contract for over 13 years. Under this contract they come out every 6 months and check the generator to make sure it is all working and do general maintenance tasks. The generator is 13 years old, and they continued to service it and gave me no information that anything was wrong.
Our power went out during the storms of hurricane Irma. When the generator kicked on, sparks started coming out of many of the light switches, a few outlets and some surge protectors. We immediately turned the generator off so we were without power and backup generator for the duration of the outage.
I called Anderson Power and they sent out a tech who discovered that some part(s) in generator had gone bad which is what caused the issue.
The generator caused major damage to any items in my home -- to this day and I am still finding issues. A couple light switches and surge protectors were completely black with soot as they had actually caught on fire. Luckily we were home to shut it off or it may have caused a major fire in my home. Currently I am getting all of these these fixed and replaced and it is adding up.
I spoke with Anderson Power about what they were going to do for me and they say it is not their fault and they were not responsible for any of it. The offered me nothing in compensation and said that it was something they could not have known about. They did agree to take away the current generator but when I called them the following week to take it out, they said they were too busy and still have not called back two weeks later. So, I had to hire my own electrician to remove the bad generator.
If you think you need a generator for you house, I would just suggest you be extremely careful on what generator you choose and who you choose to back and service it. It turns out the maintenance contract did not do what I expected it to do - i.e. keep the generator healthy and in good working order and caused major damage to my home and could have been much worse.
