Jason and team are unbelievable! I am replacing all of our appliances in the house and when the new range arrived we quickly noted that the old one was hard-wired and the range needed a 50amp plug added to it. We have been without a stove and oven for a long time. While talking to Jason on the phone, Jason put me on hold, called one of his guys in the field and reconnected with me to let me know that while they were booked on prescheduled appointments, he talked to one of his guys, Dustin, who said he'd be willing to drive from a job he had in Corte Madera to my house in Sonoma after his job was done. Dustin called me twice from his other job to let me know when he was going to be at my house, he even kept me up-to-date as he was driving over.

Dustin had a long day, that day, he got to my house around 6pm and left at 9pm. We ran into some issues on the install but it was nothing Dustin couldn't handle. Dustin is the nicest guy, very calm and extremely competent. By the time he left, I was throwing a pizza in the new oven! Thank you Jason and Dustin - you guys are definitely the best!

Jason does awesome work! I have had a few needs at my house in Rohnert Park. He always comes through for me. He's quick to respond, gives me a good deal, and does an excellent job on the work! Highly recommend!

Anderholm exceeded our expectations. Jason was able to quickly get two of his guys out to tie our new bathroom fan into our electric and install new smoke alarms. Jason gave us a reasonable price and was available and highly communicative. We definitely recommend Anderholm and will be using them in the future for all things electrical.

Had a problem with the wiring in my well pump house. Another company came first, and tried to sell me on a huge project to re-do all the wiring on my well house and build protective boxes with wood, etc. Doing that would of wasted tons of money, for starters, and wouldn't of even fixed the problem.

Anderholm sent a guy Dustin over--- experienced Journeyman electrician. HE was very friendly and easy to work with, and professional. He took his time to diagnosis the issue we were having and turns out hte other guys completely miscalled it. It was the wiring going from main circuit box underground to the wellhouse, not the wellhouse wiring itself. He worked late into the night, knowing we had two kids here and no water. Impressed how this guy gets things done in the dark, in the cold, with his headlamp! He did a great job, and I've put these guys in my file for referrals/future work.

After reading the positive Yelp reviews, I contacted Anderholm Electric to install an EV charging station at our house. Got a call back the same day (on a Saturday!) from Jason. He was out to the house on Tuesday to survey the situation and provide a quote. It was a complicated job needing some trenching, new breakers, and interior and exterior wiring. Jason provided a reasonable quote and then had the crew out the next morning to do the job. The project crew was punctual, professional, and efficient. They got the whole job done same day and left the job site tidy and ready for use. The EV charger worked exactly as planned and we are very happy with the results. I would not hesitate to use Anderholm Electric again in the future.

I just wanted to fix an electrical problem and install a couple outlets. They were very friendly and helpful. They made an appointment right away. The electricians showed up right on time, understood what I wanted right away and then got to work immediately. They had zero issues installing the outlets and for the faulty light pointed out that the ballast was going bad. Overall they were fast, professional, and knowledgeable. What more could I ask for? I haven't hired an electrician before so I don't know how the price compares but there were no surprises and I am happy with what they did. They even swapped out a faulty light switch at the last minute no problem. I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call if you need any electrical work done.

We bought a home last year that is still original to the 1950s, including the electrical. Knowing that we are going to be updating over time, we wanted to start with the electrical. We are very happy that we found Jason and his team. We were extremely happy both with the quality of advice that we received from Jason in making recommendations for what we needed and how to proceed with the work as well as the quality of work and care of him and his entire team.

We had them install a new main panel as well as a new sub panel in our detached garage. The work included digging a ditch in our back yard to run new lines from the main panel to the subpanel. (They dug the grass in such a way that by the time they were done it looked nearly in disturbed and 4 weeks later, our lawn looks as good as before). They also routed Ethernet from a separate part of the house to the garage seamlessly. Everything was explained to us clearly and executed well. When they ran into a few snags (for example when PG and E first told us that there would be an unexpected fee), Jason let us know what was going on and worked through the issue (coming to a resolution that was what we wanted and without any extra fees and in a quicker timeline than originally thought!)

We were also extremely impressed with Dustin who managed most of the work at the property and stayed late to clean everything up and install our electric vehicle charger.

We already have more electrical projects in mind and will be contacting Jason again.

Easy recommendation! Our family moved into a new home about 8 months ago with mostly original electrical work from the '50s. We had ambitions to get an EV charger in the garage and set up an office out there which required quite a bit of work upgrading old panels, running new wiring to the garage, and installing a couple of outlets. Jason and Dustin were very communicative throughout the whole project and were able to accommodate additional requests halfway through. These guys are great problem solvers, fun to talk to, and we will lean on their expertise for future projects :)

I'm normally not one to write reviews, mostly because I'm lazy. However, every once and a while I come across something that motivates me into doing a review. In this case it's Jason Anderholm, owner of Anderholm Electric. Jason and his team recently completed a major electrical project at my newly purchased home and the entire experience from start to finish was absolutely fantastic!
Here's my story. My wife and I recently sold our long time rural Sonoma County property. That property had a full home back up generator system complete with an automated transfer switch. Living on rural property you are dependent on constant power for your well and septic, so an alternate power source is important. The replacement property we purchased is also rural. The previous owners had a DYI back up power source, however it was limited in its ability and was not automated. We decided to install another system such as the one we had at our previous home. I contacted 3 different electrical contractors; all advertising generator installs. Jason called me back within an hour and we made an appointment for the next day.
Jason arrived on time and together we looked at my current electrical system. Being somewhat familiar with back up power systems I already had an idea of what I wanted. What I wasn't aware of was the complexity of having solar panels as part of my electrical system. The previous owners had solar installed however there was no battery storage as part of the system. Another issue was the fact that the existing service panel was filled to capacity and a small sub panel had been installed to accommodate the addition of solar. Jason explained his concerns with the current system configuration and trying to tie in the generator's transfer switch. He recommended that a new 200-amp service panel be installed along with the generator and transfer switch. Replacement of the service panel had also been recommended by the person who had done the home inspection. I opted to have the new panel installed along with the generator and transfer switch.
Jason and his crew arrived on time the first morning and immediately went to work mapping out the new system and re-routing all the existing circuits. The crew ended up spending 5 days on this project. One day they worked until 9pm so we wouldn't be without power over night. Jason's crew was professional, they maintained a clean and organized job site, and were very easy to work with. The project turned out to be a bit more then originally anticipated however Jason stuck with his original quote. I am extremely happy with the work that Anderholm Electric did and will be using them again when it comes time to start my remodel. Thanks Anderholm Electric!

Anderholm electric was a great partner to work with on the installation of a Chargepoint Home Flex charging station. They visited the site, provided a prompt and reasonable estimate and scheduled the work quickly. I used another contractor (Sonoma Landworks) to dig the trench for this installation and Anderholm electric did everything else. They were able to exceed my expectations with the installation -- AJ was particularly fantastic to work with. I look forward to working Anderholm Electric in the future and highly recommend them especially for electric vehicle charging stations.
