So I come home after a long day at work, and both my wife and mother in law mentioned that there was some odd burning smell coming from the living room. I go in there and sure enough I smell something.. So I end up calling Rafi and let him know what I smell and he comes over right away. This man saved our home from being burned to a crisp, he found an outlet behind one of our couches that was melting, as soon as he pulled it out of the wall, the piece exploded. The main problem was that a contractor we had hired messed up on the wiring and ended up stripping the insulation of the wires, which in turn literally started melting the socket.
There are not enough words that I can say for the gratitude that I have for this man.
The fact that he dropped everything and came over immediately to find the problem was incredible. He also said that the wiring was on its last leg and we were very close to having an electrical fire. Highly recommend him. Thank you Rafi!!

Pool Light Short that an experience pool maintenance firm couldn't resolve. Their proposed solution was to pull a new line which included sizable masonry work.

I called Anavar Electric for a third opinion. Mr. Rafi came as promised, on time and was able to assess the short quickly. The problem, the short was at a different location then was originally assessed by the pool guys and it cost me a fraction of what I was asked to pay originally. I never thought I would be writing a ""fan letter"" for an electrician. But Rafi is not like other electricians. In this day of everyone trying to cut corners and try to do the easiest thing possible just to get done, Rafi stands out. He pays close attention to every detail and carefully makes decisions based on what is best for the situation. This is the most intelligent contractor we have ever had working on our property.

Rafi doesn't cut corners but makes the best decisions for the situation, always asking for my opinion when there are several options. In one instance we discussed the options and decided to not go with something that would be time consuming and costly, even though it would be beneficial to proceed in that manner.

Our home has just begun to reap the benefits of Rafi's expertise. He has rewired our garage and guest house correcting many errors others have made in the past. We now know what each switch controls and everything is working as it should. Once he finishes the garage the next project will be the main house and our outdoor lighting. I can hardly wait for Rafi to work his magic!
