After meeting a ton of electricians - I finally made the choice to go with Mike and AmpTech. Mike and his team were extremely professional. The quote (which was very reasonable and well in my budget) was sent to me a day or two later from the initial meet which was quick compared to others. Scheduling the job was also a breeze with Mike - very accommodating. On the day of the job site Hovo and his assistant tech arrived within the time frame specified. They were personable (and the type of people you can trust if you had to leave for a few hours from the job site) and took every precaution to protect my hardwood floors. They were able to do six recess lights as well as hang a chandelier, closet lighting and bathroom re-wiring in the span of 4 to 5 hours. Not only were they quick, the lights accomplished what I needed them to do and the final product looked as if they were part of the first build of my condo/tower. I could not have asked for a better electrical company. Rest assure I will call on Mike and Hovo at Amp Tech for future electrical projects!

Mike and his team did a great job replacing our old lighting system with a new, energy-efficient set-up. They worked quickly, cleanly and were especially courteous to our customers. We were not concerned about leaving him and his team in the store alone while we stepped out to run errands (it's a laundromat, so doesn't exactly need constant attention). When one ballast went down a few months later (this past week), he was out to our within two business days to fix the problem without any questions asked. His service and attitude were top-notch and really appreciated.

I desperately needed to install an extra outlet for my home in Los Angeles, so I called 5 different businesses (by yelp reviews of 4-5 stars) to get an estimate.

LET ME SAVE YOU A LOT OF TROUBLE/HEADACHE/TIME:

Just call Mike @ Amptech. PERIOD.

The other places estimated 3 to 4 times the amount that AmpTech quoted. (WTH?!)

Mike and Hovo were one of the nicest electricians I've ever met. They were courteous and very upfront about all the work that needed to be done. (Honestly, I doubted myself about calling AmpTech since other reviews said they didn't show up for the appointment) HOWEVER, unlike the other reviewer's comment, AmpTech was prompt and even called me before they arrived. Their work was very clean and finished the job within the hours that they said it would take.

Made appointment but never showed up and never called to say why they didn't show up. If you can't make it or if the job isn't big enough, just say so I will move on to another electrician. Don't tell me you will be there and never show up. Left work early to meet them but they never showed and haven't heard anything from them. Poor service!!!!!!

I couldn't be happier with the work performed by this company. I am not prone to rash decisions and so interviewed several contractors for the upgrade I sought. From 60 to 200 amps, rewiring of my entire home including ALL new toggle switches and outlets (adding 30+ of these)... and fixtures. The latter I purchased separately but had Amp Tech install. They even went so far as to ""bury"" the lines running to my detached garage, perfectly replacing the concrete portion that had to be excavated. From our first meeting, Mike (Owner) was courteous and professional. His explanations and suggestions were thorough. His estimate, while not the cheapest (and ONE reason I took him to be earnest) was more than fair. Upon completion of the job, the City Inspector took me aside and commented on the excellent workmanship completed. In earlier years, I had occasion to work oversight on commercial building sites and am somewhat familiar with the ""ins and outs"" of on-site construction.. 5 weeks post-job completion, I am a VERY satisfied customer and I will call Mike, Hovo and crew when I need any electrical job handled.....Michael Haft

Mike and his team provided and completed outstanding work for my home. It was built back in the 1920s and needed some serious help - as in everything had to be stripped out and everything new put in place. I work from home so them being able to work with my schedule was appreciated. They were even willing to work late to get everything done and not stretch it to three days. I can't say enough positive things about them. If you are looking for an honest, hard working electrican get in touch with Mike.

Very impressed with the quality of work provided and overall experience dealing with Mike at AmpTech Electric.

I had a minor electrical crisis over the weekend trying to install a fixture (in my house that has seriously outdated wiring!!) and needed an electrician to come to the rescue right away. I called a few different places- which all quoted extremely unreasonable prices due to the weekend hours. So luckily I found Mike, who not only was able to come take care of the situation right away, but his fee was very fair.

I will definitely use AmpTech again and would also gladly recommend them to anyone needing a high quality, fairly priced electrician.
