I installed a 240v 14-50 outlet, which I am going to use for my EV. Erwin was patient and informative to educate me on what my electric consumption will demand and how I can go about my usage.

We first contacted Amperage March 31, when they enthusiastically said they could install an EV charger for us. We set up an appointment and AFTER they said they'd be here, they apologized that they had an emergency and could not make it. I understand that emergencies happen sometimes and accepted their apology.

We set up another appointment for today, April 10. Less than an hour before the appointed time, received a message saying ""I apologize for the short notice as well but it's not looking like we will be able to service you. We are extremely sorry for having you in hopes that we would come evaluate and are very aware that this is very unprofessional.""

They might be the best electricians in the world, but not only did they not show up, they gave me no time to reschedule my own time.

I'm extremely disappointed and am only giving them two stars (not one!) because their apologies were so nicely written.

I needed a Tesla charger installed outside our home. I used Yelp to get multiple quotes from local electricians, but I decided to go with Amperage for their reasonable rates & prompt response. I'm so glad I did as Edwin & Ricardo were pleasant to work with and are both very knowledgeable. The day after our charger was installed, we noticed lights flickering all over our house and no power on some of the outlets. So we thought it was caused by our new charger. My husband immediately called Amperage as it was an emergency, and they showed up the same day. After a thorough inspection, they found out that one of the PG&E power line completely broke off from the back of our house, and it had nothing to do with the charger. After PG&E came to fix the line, all the power in our house was restored. It's been two weeks, and the charger is working perfectly. Please support small businesses and give these guys a chance. I highly recommend them!
