Zack was a subcontractor for our major remodel. He performed the rough electrical, we paid him in full with the agreement to return for the finish ....he had the schematic and a video(pre drywall) of all wiring. 3 months later when we were ready for the finish electrical, he was nonresponsive. We finally chased him down as the new electrician was seeing issues, Zack was too busy to help.
After many debug $$$'s later, the new electrician found 2 major mistakes in his work(multiple circuits tied together, disconnected series of outlets). Basic errors.

He's an affable guy, ex-ball player, and probably ok for a one day job to install a light or switch, but complexity, communication and finishing are not his forte.

We hired another electrician who found 2 major errors in the wiring. Tough to debug once drywall is up.

He may be capable to install a switch or an outdoor light, but avoid if you have anything complicated or need him to return multiple times.

Zach installed recessed lighting in five rooms for us. The job took about two days. Pricing was very reasonable, and he was professional and extremely responsive. He also did a great job cleaning up after finishing each room. He wore a face mask the entire time, and was very pleasant to work with. Would highly recommend!

After buying a home last year, I encountered some of the usual problems that come with homeownership (i.e. plumbing, electrical, etc.). We realized our kitchen was not wired properly and needed a immediate repair due to a fire hazard. We could feel part of our kitchen wall ""warming up"" when we used our microwave. We needed help fast, but the companies we contacted couldn't schedule our repair for another week or two. We understood most licensed, reputable companies are busy, so we were willing to wait. However, Amped Up Electric came to our rescue!

We initially contacted Amped Up Electirc in our search, but they weren't available for a week. The next day, one of their servicemen contacted us directly to squeeze us in their schedule that morning because of a cancellation. We agreed to do the repair that morning, and they did a great job at a reasonable price!

They went into our attic and avoided drilling holes above our kitchen countertop, opting instead to drills holes inside high cabniets in order to lower electical wire within the walls. It was a tricky repair, but the two electricians looked at all of our kitchen outlets and made the necessary repairs up to code.

I would highly recommend using Amped Up Electric for your electric repair needs!

We were looking for a licensed electrician to fix a tricky problem we had. We got some high bids and met some unfriendly folks that were actually recommended on next door.

I called Zach with amped up electric and he called me back and showed up 15 minutes later because he just happened to have finished a job nearby. He told us some of the things the other electricians said we needed to do were not necessary (even though he could have said they were and charged us), worked quick, did a great job, was really kind and not pushy at all. Seemed legitimately concerned about the safety of our electrical issues. He fixed everything and even offered to sweep. He charged us way less than what other electricians claimed to be a ""great deal"".

Zach is great and did a fantastic job for us. We needed to have the main panel and sub panel replaced, new installation of three ceiling lights, removal of a ceiling fan and light with a new replacement light fixture, install multiple new outlets, and have multiple old two prong outlets replaced.

Zach came by very shortly after my first call and walked through our situation. He gave me a quick and fair estimate, and then completed all of his work on time and on budget. I was very impressed with his knowledge about his work, the way he clearly explained it to me, and the quality of the work he completed.

If I have any other electrical work that needs to be done in the future, Zach will be my first call. Thanks!

My husband and I were EXTREMELY happy with the overall service and work done by Amped Up Electric! We had bought our house that was in major need up electrical updating as well as new electrical work for our kitchen renovation. My husband used to work in construction but definitely wanted to let a professional handle the electrical. When my husband first called, he spoke to Zach who was genuine, helpful, and provided a reasonable quote when my husband described the work we needed done. We ended up having him put in a whole new electrical panel, added in outlets, and did all the new wiring for the renovation and not only was the work itself done well but the price didn't kill our budget! This is definitely a company that can be trusted (which are rare these days!) and we will definitely be using Amped Up for any future electrical work we need done!

Zach as been to the house twice - both times we had great experiences. His prices are very reasonable, you won't be overcharged. His work is top notch. He put in a new electrical outlet and installed a bathroom fan on the first visit. The second visit he troubleshooted some odd wiring, installed a ceiling fan and connected it to the lightswitch. Great work, great professionalism, and quick response.
