I am very disappointed that my original call was for an estimate, and I never received an estimate prior to my light bulbs being replaced. There were 4 light bulbs in the same fixture which, for safety, did require a second technician to hold the ladder. I had NO problem with this. $91.50 PER PERSON (x2 people) in labor for a total of one hour is ridiculous for the replacement of four light bulbs in the same fixture. Including leaving for purchasing the bulbs, the entire replacement of the bulbs took less than an hour. I don't see how this company can justify $180 in labor for that work.
I understand that, as a business, it's their right to charge whatever they want for services. That said, it's not very ethical to not have provided an estimate (either in writing or verbally) and have given me the opportunity to approve or decline the services in advance based on the estimate. When I asked the technicians at my home how much it would cost they said I'd get an invoice. Never once, until I called the office because I hadn't received an invoice, was I told anything about the travel fee, or the labor costs. It is standard to provide an estimate of cost before performing services.
I am very disappointed in the lack of communication and having NEVER received an estimate despite asking both the office and the technicians at my home. I even had to call the office twice to get an invoice sent to me so I could pay it. Next time I will, and should have this time, refused to allow services to be performed without an estimate in my hand. Buyer beware.

I needed some electrical work done and I was referred to Amp Electric. I had previous had another large company try to fix and install smart switches and various arrangements and they could only do some of the things and said my house would have to rewired. So I tried Amp Electric, from the beginning the person answering the phone to the owner of the company calling me back it was great. The electrician that came to my home was very friendly and knew his trade. After explaining things to him he said no problem I can fix it for you and make it do what you wanted it to do. What a relief! Amp Electric did things the other company said it couldn't be done. Javier who was the person doing the work was very polite and asked if we needed anything else. He was very friendly and helpful, which is hard to find. I will tell all my friends and people I know about my great experience. If you need any type of electrical work I suggest you use them. I highly recommend them,

My family purchased a $20,000+ solar system and electrical panel upgrade. 4-6 times a year the system shuts down unexpectedly until I either catch it or receive a $600 bill. This has been happening for the 2-3 years since our family made the purchase. We have lost $1000's!!!!!! It's depressing every time. It's Friday night and I just discovered my system didn't work this week. This was a hot and sunny week. Lots of AC and no solar (again).
If they ever make it right I will change my reviews and the overall narrative but it has been 2-3 years of informing them that this is not ok.
. A year ago they asked me what I wanted them to do? I said refund some of my $20,000+ money.... give me 2-3 more panels to cancel out my systems failures.
Please help us Amp Solar. I hope to have positive posts soon. All I want is worry free solar like everyone I have spoken to who has solar. Please help. Please make me happy to cancel out these disappointments.

These guys are top notch. I am a contractor myself and find their company easy to work with, accommodating, and most of all professional. I would recommend them to my friends and family, which I consider the highest compliment I can pay a company. They have done work for me in past, are currently doing work for me, and I plan on using them in the future.

My solar stops working 2-4 times per year. Amp technician told me 1/2 a year ago it's my job to keep on top of it (when my solar stops I need to touch a few buttons on the box to reset). The problem is that sometimes I don't catch it until a high bill comes. Today was average, I noticed I went the last 10 days without solar. I hit a few buttons and I'm back. I have spoke with peers that have solar and they say they have been worry free. My friends aren't having to ""stay on top of it"". Sad that I spent thousands and am only getting 10-11 months of operation per year. My box is in one of the yelp pictures. Don't allow anyone to install a Fronius system onto your house. I'll call Amp again and see if they can help me change my 2/5 opinion. I've realized (Amp Solar) that I'm not suppose to have to eyeball my system. I've lost $1000's.... these last 10 days of June sun... estimating $120 lost.... just another day with my Amp Solar System. Hoping to update this review with positivity in the future.

This is the company to call if you need prompt, professional, and reasonable service. We installed a hot tub and needed a dedicated line. Even when a component they installed failed, they rushed back to make it right. This is now the only company I will use for my electrician needs. Give them a try, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Great people. Nick spent a couple of hours analyzing my problem (winter rain wiped out outdoor sprinkler system). Sergio and his partner worked two whole days fixing the problems. Most important, Sergio's on the job solutions to the problems has been perfect. Sergio does careful and correct billing.

These guys are the real deal. From setting an appointment to ensuring our satisfaction with work done, our experience was great! Celso and Josh arrived a little ahead of the scheduled time and worked fast. They troubleshooted the problems we were having and fixed all issues. They were knowledgeable, professional and cordial.
