We've had a problem light circuit in our house forever. When we decided to sell the house I reached out to AMP for an estimate based on their reviews. John was everything the reviews claimed and then some! He spent a lot of time diagnosing the issue, and then fixed it for exactly what the estimate had been. He even explained in detail to my husband what has been incorrectly wired by the builder. A true professional, and genuinely pleasant technician. I recommend AMP highly!

I called John at AMP today with a problem with lights not working in part of my home. He came out and carefully diagnosed and fixed the problem that was definitely tricky and not immediately clear. The cost was fair and he was completely professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend and use AMP again.

This company shines. My first contact with John was on the phone when he tried to save us money by helping us get our electricity back on. Later we had an issue with our pool pump. John came out and after careful inspection was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. With John you can fully trust his expertise and work ethnic, something you really need to have with an electrician. He is punctual and thorough . As an added bonus, John is very nice and always trying to save you money, pointing out alternatives without compromising safety. He even took the time to give my son advice on his electrical project. I am so glad to have found this company!

I decided to go with AMP Electric after reading all the great reviews and they were definitely spot on. John is very knowledgeable but at the same time does a great job explaining what he fixed to even to someone with basic understanding of electrical terms.

He even mentioned what to look out for and ways to possibly prevent issues from arising in the future. His prices were very fair and he fixed our issue very quickly. He gave updates as he went along and summarized what he did at the end. The entire process was quick and easy.

Believe the hype, the previous reviews are all true. John is everything you could ever want in an electrician: knowledgeable, personable, reliable, trustworthy, and very, very fair. I found John and AMP Electric on Yelp and I'm glad it worked out because John is the kind of guy who a) deserves all of the success that comes his way and b) resets the benchmark for us skeptics for in that as few and far between as they may be, there are honest, fair, and trustworthy tradesmen out there. Without question or hesitation, I will use John again in the future and without question or hesitation, I will recommend John to anyone in need of an electrician.

John at AMP electric is great. Upgraded 6 kitchen can lights to LED, work wasn't simple due to installation quirks when house was built 16 years ago. Also troubleshot an incorrectly installed patio fan so it is safe. Friendly and professional and very fast response time. Will call John anytime we need electrical work.

John came out after closing time because he was in the area finishing another job. He took his time and changed out a GFI plug. I had been having trouble with it tripping. Normally it isn't so serious but I have a fridge and a freezer on the plug. I had tried everything I knew to do. Out of frustration I called AMP, after trying to contact other electricians. John answered his phone right away. I explained my issue and he said he would be there in 30 minutes; he was. In less than an hour John helped me out. John did diagnostics on other plugs and my panel box; very thorough. My problem isn't completely solved as yet but John is going to come back and help me fix the final issue we have narrowed it down to. He didn't charge me the full price the first visit and when he comes out again he will apply the amount I paid to what he will be fixing on his next visit.

John is very professional yet friendly; a good combination for a business man in my view. He explained everything he was doing and didn't talk down to me. I, being a woman, truly appreciate that. If John hadn't helped I may have needed to toss everything in my fridge and freezer. Thanks John!

My hats off to John at AMP Electric. He was quick to come out and take a look at the faulty job another company had previously done at our home. John gave us a great quote and did a great job for us. he was even nice enough to teach me a few electrical things around the home. He was polite, knowledgeable, professional, and a fun guy to just chat with.
I would highly recommend AMP to any home or business to make sure things are done right.
