I went to Google looking for an electrician, wound up on Yelp and found Gil of Amor Electric.
He came this morning, on time, professional, explained what I needed to understand, was fast and efficient. I found him organized and did the job right. He installed two movement sensitive lights outside our building, tested them and was out of here in 55 minutes. He could have stalled and charged me for additional time and I would never have known the difference. He charged me his quoted fee for an hour. I will definitely call him again and recommend him.

If you are looking for someone who is efficient, timely, and able to quickly diagnosis your electrical needs I would highly recommend Gil and his team. I called for a minor outdoor lighting issue and not only did I luck out and they came same day, but the checked each and every socket thoroughly to ensure I was all set. I was very impressed and appreciated his attention to detail and professionalism.

Gil is GREAT! Had an emergency electrical problem yesterday and found Gil through Yelp. His reviews did not lie. He was easy to get ahold of, called me back, kept me updated on his arrival time and was completely affordable. They even cleaned up after themselves when they were done - I'm talking got paper towels with soap and water to clean handprints off the wall! I was highly impressed with their professionalism. Gil will now be my go-to electrician.

He was able to work in our office during working hours with minimal disruption to our business. He fixed some potentially dangerous outlet wiring problems. Gave us some good advice for future office upgrades. And his price was very reasonable!!

On the basis of the reviews posted here, we called Gil to install a vintage European chandelier--and on the basis of that wonderful experience, we called him a week later to install two ceiling fans and do other electrical work. He is thorough, careful, thoughtful and creative in problem-solving, and an all-around nice, caring, principled person. We are thrilled to have found him!

I gave these guys a call to describe an electrical problem I wanted them to stop by and help fix. The guy (I was remiss in asking his name) who answered the phone talked me through a couple basic things that actually fixed the problem. He was so helpful and kind and ""didn't want me to waste the drive-out/assessment fee for something that would've taken him moments to fix."" So basically, they're at the top of my list when something goes wrong, I know already that it's a very honorable company.

I have been having a number of different issues in my home, and I wanted to get everything fixed, plus I wanted to install some new lighting also. Gil was great on the phone. I could tell by his questions that he understood what I needed and gave me an excellent estimate on how long it would take. We made an appointment and he was prompt, efficient, hard working and nice. Also, I was prepared to pay to replace a couple of things that he was easily able to fix instead. So he was very honest. He really knows what he is doing and next time I need any electrical work done in my home, I will call him again. For my work today, he brought another electrician with him as well (which we had discussed) and they were both great. Five stars........I would recommend them highly.

Very friendly and dealt with the problem within a matter of hours at reasonable cost. He could have insisted on an all new electrical panel, but instead he said he could easily fix the problem for far less money. Will definitely be using again.
