Great experience, I needed a GFCI outlet replaced, and it turns out I also needed a new cable for my electric pool cover. Yarin came, did the job at a fair price, including making a quick trip to the local hardware store to buy the new cable. I would definitely use these guys again

I requested a service to get my kitchen lights fixed via Yelp. Everything went pretty smooth. They responded within minutes and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Mike stopped by, assessed the situation, and fixed my kitchen lights right away. Mike is truly a magician when it comes down to fixing lights. The price was right and the experience was amazing. I had recess lights that were not working. Yarin from American Electric fixed the problem very quickly and only charged me the troubleshooting fee of $175.

Yarin and Mike were great- were able to come by soon, were prepared and on time and explained all that had to be done. Needed some outdoor electric repaired - not a huge job but enough where my handyman was stumped so I found these guys here on yelp. Lifetime warranty on the work which gives peace of mind. Super nice guys who made sure the job got done.

Please do not support this business. They use high pressure, scare tactics with senior citizens. They are not honest business people and charge for work that has not been done. They billed me $5140 dollars for replacing a breaker and an outlet for my stove saying he had a contract and that was the cost. There was no contract. The electrician pressured me to replace the entire electrical panel, I had changed my mind and decided just to pay for the work that was done. Unresolved.

I really appreciate the professionalism and all my communications with American Electric Service. Shirag created my quote today, but did so much more than run the numbers. He was honest about what I did and didn't need, and made every effort to source a part that's no longer in production to keep costs down. He took the time to really understand all my specific concerns, as well as my ""wants"" and be super clear in the quote by not bundling things within the quote as I've sometimes experienced with other companies. He looked ahead to some future, unrelated work, I mentioned in passing - and it's going to be a big help when we go to complete that. He was very knowledgeable, and I learned a lot! Plus, Shirag is just a really nice guy and I enjoyed the experience of working with him.
