I was amazed by the companies quick response. I called for someone to come give an estimate late in the afternoon and the owner of the company (Harry) came out to my home that same evening. We accepted his bid and he performed the service the very next day. He paid particular attention to detail and was very considerate about covering exposed areas and cleaning up his work area upon completion. We hired Harry and Mauricio to install a very heavy ceiling fan as well as some under cabinet lighting. If you need an electrician, look no further. They were polite, competent and professional. Harry has been great. In the past few years he has re-wired my whole house, added a 220 volt outlet to my garage, added lighting to my garage, installed an electric car charger, installed a home theatre system and outdoor speakers, and fixed my central air conditioner (on the weekend no less). I had a electrical issue in my panel the lights would dim and power would fail, I called a company that quoted me $2500.00 to fix the problem WHAT!! Yeah couldn't believe it but I came across American Electric on yelp and decided to give these guys a try. A guy name Harry came which he was polite and friendly and was very knowledgeable unlike the other companies tech which seemed more interested in me signing this ridiculous contract... than figuring out my electrical problem. What a waste of space that guy was!! Harry took a look and said the issue was very simple and could fix the problem in less then 1 hour. He charged me $100.00!! I couldn't believe that idiot from citywide wanted to screw me over. Harry finished the job in 30min and we were talking and laughing the whole time he worked on the problem, what a honest guy I gave him an extra hundred for saving me $2300 big ones. Thank you American electric I hope this post helps bring in more customers.

Yesterday my mother had a new ceiling fan installed by Mauricio Cano from American Electric, and we couldn't be more pleased. Not only was he competent, thorough and professional, his kindness to my Mom was the real customer service icing. She is hearing impaired, overly cautious, and has to have questions repeated several times to understand them, but Mauricio was patient, explaining everything he was doing, and even calling the company at her request to confirm the installation specs. He willingly spent extra time loading the old fan in the new, empty box, making sure there was no dust or trash left, and even carrying the old fan to her car. I am personally not easily wowed by technicians these days - they are typically distant, impatient, with few interpersonal skills. But to have someone who possesses all of the above left my Mom feeling secure in a quality product, happy at being treated with respect, and confident she knows where to turn the next time she needs any electronic installation. Kudos!

I needed to have a 240 outlet installed in my garage. I called a city wide company recommended by Tesla and their quote was $1600. I wish I could remember their name so I could not recommend them, but anyway, I called American Electric next due to great Yelp reviews and Harry came by immediately, gave a free quote, which was $400, one fourth the price of my first one. He came by the next day, on time both days to the minute and finished the job an hour quicker than he predicted. He was very friendly, efficient and an overall great guy. I can't remember a better service experience ever. If there were ten stars he'd get that from me too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. THANKS, HARRY.

On 103° Hot day our breaker for our dental office broke. The first electrician I called give me a quote of $1400 and was very adamant about getting the work done right away. Noticing we were in desperate need of a repair with patients waiting he tried to take advantage of our Bad situation. I felt uneasy so I called American electric Corporation, One of their technicians came out immediately did the repair within an hour for less than half the fee without exploiting are desperate need of repair as our office was shut down. I would definitely recommend American electric Corporation all my friends and family and anyone within the area. I found out they are specialty contractors through Lowe's with says a lot about the credibility of the company. Thank you guys!!
