I hired Joe Simac who's the owner of Amcro electric to do several electric jobs for my remodel . I paid him over $2,500 dollars in electrical work. After everything was done I noticed that the outlet in my kitchen where garbage disposal was connected wasn't working anymore. There was no electric current at all. A wire must have been cut my mistake. I called Joe on so many occasions and sent him numerous messages but he never returned any of my calls. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend hiring him. Save yourself a headache

Called, picked up, said he was driving, and to call his voice mail Did that, no callback. Called again the next day, gave information to him on the phone and he said he would call back that evening between 6- 6:30. Never did. Left a message on his website the next day and he never responded. This is incredibly unprofessional. If he didn't want to replace ballast in fluorescent lights, all he needed to do was say so. Three tries at contacting him to give him work!! Two promises to call me on the phone. He might know his stuff but he isn't my kind of person.

It's been many years now that our family and friends count on Joe at AmCro Electricians for his knowlegeable, prompt, and dependable professional service and competitive rates. I have another great story about Joe from AmCro. I've been looking at the other reviews and it doesn't surprise me that a lot of other people have done the same thing I'm doing here. Other electricians told us we would have to run a new electrical line to our hot tub in the master bedroom, quoted us a price of $700. Joe came in, used technology the other guy didn't have to find the electrical box in the wall that the builder had plastered over and added a switch and we were DONE! Saved us $500. Came one day after we called, was a good guy, dealt with my dog who can really be a chore ... so happy with this find. CALL JOE!!!

After Joe was the only electrician who offered a free house call to diagnose my problem (my chandelier stopped working and it was clearly not lightbulbs), we arranged to meet within one day. He arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem within one minute. It was literally just a quick adjustment of an old fashioned switch and I again had light. He didn't charge me anything. I have a retail shop in Encinitas, and yesterday, just like that, the can lights as well as the light on my outdoor sign went out. I tried but could not get them on.
