Clemente from Ambro Electric did a fantastic job of installing the level 2 EV charger in our garage. I was impressed with his professionalism and communication at every level. He contacted me immediately upon receiving the contract and walked me through the permit process, letting me know approximately how long it would take for approval and final installation.

Clemente was very punctual, a quality I appreciate in anyone I work with. He was efficient, methodical and organized in his installation, getting everything installed quickly and yet with the highest quality of work. He asked my wife and I for input to make sure the installation was exactly to our specifications. I was even impressed by how he brought a folding table along to organize all of his tools before installing!

The County made a mistake on the type of EV charger installation on the permit. Clemente was quick to point this out and made sure to clarify with us, which install we wanted. He gave us options and assured us that he could switch it out if the County had any issues with the installation.

After the installation, he was on top of the inspection process and immediately scheduled for the County to come out and take a look. Once again, his communication with us on this process was greatly appreciated.

I cannot stress how impressed I was with Clemente's professionalism and work ethic. I would definitely refer anyone I know to Ambro Electric and would be glad to work with Clemente for any electrical projects in the future. My highest recommendation.

Great, friendly, knowledgeable, and detailed service. I am so happy with the service from Ambro Electric. They helped me filled out all the necessary forms for the Grid Alternative program, bought the Tesla Charger, and scheduled a city check up on the new level 2 outlet. All I did was just submit a form to Grid Alternative and they took care of the rest. They did a neat and nice job on my level 2 outlet. I recommend their service and would love to work with them again in the future.

I am extremely unhappy with the quality of the work done by this contractor, and the job has not been inspected by the city yet still. For some reason Ambro Electric told the city my garage would be open and they then came out and couldn't inspect it. I feel that Ambro Electric (Clemente) lied to me numerous times. The reason given to me why this job would cost $2,150 instead of under $2,000 was not true. He told me the building permit was much more expensive in Indian Wells, but it was only $ 80 total. I've asked him to provide a breakdown why the job cost $ 2,150 and he is either unable or unwilling to.  As mentioned, I'm very unhappy with the quality of the work, the ugly conduit on the inside of my garage, the cheap materials used, the slow speed of the charger, and that it's hard wired and not an outlet which I was never told. To be honest, I feel this contractor is taking advantage of the GRID grant and that the job he did should've cost no more than $ 900 including the charger. This was the simplest and easiest install ever and it was done poorly and unprofessionally by this contractor.

Clemente is the man. Used him as recommended through the GRID program, then again when we moved into our new home.

1st charger blew up due to manufacturing defect (no fire just explosion). He came out and put in the new one once replaced and delivered by the manufacturer.

Moved and he picked up charger #1 from the home (it was on the way do don't push it), and installed that one and my 2nd charger at the same time flawlessly.

Easy to contact and up front. He got the licenses from the city and I just watched and looked pretty. Lol.

First things first I would like to thank Ambro Electric Temecula for coming all the way out to el cajon! Clemente was supposed to come out at 12 pm but he ended up coming a couple hours earlier. He knew exactly what he was talking about when he came out to install my Tesla Charger. He was extremely knowledgeable in how the process works and explained everything to me step by step. He had gotten all the permits installed for me right away without me even asking him. His work was extremely quick and professional. If you want a job well done you need to contact this company!
