Once in a while you come across a contractor that is so good to work with you want to share your experience. Enter Alvarado Electric. In my recent residential electrical job I found these guys to be both cost competitive and customer focused. My job wasn't a big one but there were moving parts. Owner David Alvarado listened, understood the issues and patiently explained the options. He and his colleague were prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Invoicing was transparent and easy to understand. But the best part is now at home after the sun goes down I really enjoy an improved lighting atmosphere. Thanks Alvarado Electric!

This guy and his small company are the real deal! Not only was he on time or early every time he had to come to our house to meet with an inspector but he was given only four hours to complete a project that should have taken all day (the SDGE inspector told him that morning that he'd be there by 11am!). David and his crew rushed to get it done but was thorough enough to complete it so well that the inspector was impressed, using words like, ""awesome, great job"" etc. David even had to crawl under our house in a very small tight (spider-laden) space to run a grounding wire to the front of the house. He upgraded our old (1923) house from 100amps to 200amps and didn't even charge us that much. Thank you David and crew for an amazing job!

We discovered a dangerous situation in our main panel. David gave us instructions via phone to communicate with the electric company. He was able to replace the dangerous main input and damaged breakers to get our power back on while we go through the permitting process to eventually upgrade our whole panel. We were in a desperate situation. and he was responsive, prompt, helpful, fair, and professional. We have found our electrician for every future project. I highly recommend.
