Of the four electricians I was referred to by a local lighting shop, Jeff was the only one that actually answered the phone when I called (positive sign #1!) and was able to schedule the installation of 4 light fixtures the following week (positive sign #2!). His crew arrived on time, were very polite and did the job quickly and efficiently (positive sign #3!) Jeff even stopped by to ensure everything was going well and to give us estimates on some other light projects. His fee was reasonable (the best possible sign!) and I will happily work with him again and refer him to anyone looking for a great electrician!

One of the most powerful people in a rather upscale Silicon Valley city sauntered into my house with a clipboard and turned out to be one of the coolest people in the area. Unfortunately, I desperately needed a good electrician who wouldn't fleece me based on such a small job and the zip code of my humble abode. Luckily, the powerful person recommended Jeffrey Sheets whom I called immediately. He set up an appointment for a day that was open for my schedule. I was totally blown away by his professionalism, promptness, attention to detail, and super reasonable price. The huge plus is that he patiently takes on small jobs as well as the huge ones like those for major corporations and institutions. Another deal is that he was the third electrician whom I've had in the house (other two wanted over $1k for some simple stuff that I figured out myself) and the only one whom I chose due to his willingness to come in for such a small-scale job. The job was to fix what a handyman did very poorly and to make a repair to an outlet and panel that would be up to city code. I knew that I should have called an electrician for the job at the beginning, and I'm just relieved now that I have Jeffrey's number for a ton of other future projects big and small.

Jeff came out late on a Saturday last month after one of the county's tree's dropped a very large branch on top of the power line to my house, tearing off the attachment to my roof. With no A/C and no lights late on a Saturday, I figured I was going to be out of luck and power until Monday, but thankfully found Jeff on Yelp. He came over 30 minutes later, he then made a run to a store to get a part he needed, he worked around the crew which was clearing away the branch, and he got the power line re-attached and power restored within a couple of hours that same day - all late on a weekend day when he could have just told me to call him Monday.

I can't recommend Jeff and his business highly enough - a real life saver and a real professional.

I was introduced to Alternative Power and Electric by the outstanding team at Almaden Window and Door, who use them to do electrical work associated with window and door work. They were on time and did a great job finding a creative solution for moving an outlet, which kept my door job on track. I subsequently hired them to install under counter lighting in my kitchen and convert a can light on my porch to a pendant.

Again they were on time, efficient and enthusiastic. This was a small job and they made it easy for me by coming prepared to do the work the same day they looked at it. Jeffrey recommended a new LED light tape product that I wouldn't have known about, and he brought out a sample which I loved and that saved me a trip to the store to pick out lights. He came up with a solution for moving my garbage disposal switch that eliminated having to add a box or expand an existing one.

These guys know what they're doing, they communicate well and they love what they do. I don't know who was more excited when we turned on the new lights, Jeffrey or me!

Jeffrey Sheets just left my house. I called yesterday, and he was on time this morning. Fixed a daisy chain issue that affected my dishwasher, garbage disposal and an outlet. He also swapped out the outside light with a new one that I had purchased. Made some suggestions on improving my electrical configuration, and what needed to be done to get it up to current standards. He was clean and professional. Price was very reasonable. I'm planning on upgrading my kitchen lighting and will definitely call him again.
