I worked collaboratively with Alternative Energy Southeast staff for a year on a community-wide project. In this time, they have always held themselves to the highest standard. After seven years of researching options for solar systems on my own home, I finally pulled the trigger and had AES do the installation.

From proposal to installation to commissioning, everything went very well. Montana and staff were very professional and willing to go the extra mile to ensure our needs were met.

While completing the installation, we discovered a preexisting fault in my electrical panel (it was literally melting). AES was very good at reviewing the issue, discussing options, and fixing the problem. I believe it speaks to their ethical approach that the cost for the additional work was VERY reasonably priced. I've had electrical work done on other residences and I'm familiar with industry pricing. In our situation the AES could have gone with the ""Change Order"" approach and gouged us because we were in a bind. Instead, we received excellent work basically done for the cost of materials.

I highly recommend AES for solar installations and residential electrical work.

AES installed a full 22 panel residential solar panel array and an EVSE efficiently and with courtesy. I had a million questions about both things and they were able to answer them all promptly. They were able to work with our tight schedule and get the system installed before the end of the year. In addition, they were able to help with some non-solar related electrical issues that came up.
