Altap Electrical was truly a lifesaver to us today. We had a mysterious and intermittent wiring problem in our house since last night left with no air conditioner, refrigerator, washer and dryer etc.

After a few calls to electricians listed in the local Yellow Pages we could not find anyone able to help us before a few days or they were demanding unreasonable fees along with convoluted terms of agreement and so on.

Then we saw this Yelp page of Altap Electrical with all good recommendations on it. We called and in 30 minutes Bahram was here to diagnose the problem immediately and professionally explained everything to us and fixed it quickly. He then explained how the fix was done and gave us useful safety advice and instructions on how to prevent future similar problems.

Before I forget, I must say his rate was surprisingly reasonable and absolutely fair unlike what ridiculous estimates and flat inspection fees we had herd n the phone when we called other companies.

Altap Electrical and Bahram come across as people who know their job well, are knowledgeable, courteous and polite.

I have taped Altap Electrical's business card to our breaker board for future reference and highly recommend the company and Bahram to anyone seeking a prompt solution to electrical problems with no hassle.

Very impressed.

We had a portable heater that has been tripping breakers if a computer printer is also in use; usually we just reset the breakers. A few days ago the portable heater power went out again, but this time the breaker DIDN'T get tripped, so we have a couple rooms having no electricity. Called Altap today early afternoon and Bahram was able to squeeze in my appointment into his schedule to come by in the evening. After he arrived, I followed his troubleshooting process and learned that he treats this kind of diagnosis work with high priority, and it makes sense, since the root cause could be some very serious issues with huge safety and $ impact! Very impressed with his professionalism.

His rate is also very reasonable, lowered than three other companies I checked. it's rare to have high quality professional work comes with most competitive rates.

Now we have electricity and feel very relieved that we have a trustworthy electrical company to work with when future problems comes up.

We had a breaker issue and our garage had no power in which PG&E advised we should get an electrician to take a look at it. I initially called Altap before I received quotes from 3 other electricians and none of them could beat his price. Called Altap back and spoke with Bahram who was able to come by the same day. He did some troubleshooting and found exactly where the problem was. Although my yard and home was a bit difficult to maneuver thru, he was very patient through out the entire process and was able to get everything fixed in a timely manner. Overall, Bahram did an outstanding job and provided me with honest, straight to the point service. I bought an old 1952 home in a state of disrepair. ALTAP did a service panel upgrade, rewired my entire house to be up to code, and installed sconces, fans and new dimmer switches and outlets. Also, Bahram gave me a competitive price for installing ~37 new recessed LED lights.

Since my home was undergoing an extensive remodel, the process took months (not Bahram's fault) but Bahram was very patient with me. Bahram took care of the permits and when I lost the paperwork due to the move he went to the City and got new copies for me.

When the final City electrical inspection took place, Bahram showed up early and made sure everything went smoothly. He went out of his way to comply with some last-minute requests the inspector made and saved the day. Later, there was a problem caused by the City's requirements, and Bahram knew the problem and resolved it immediately.

Bahram is courteous, responsive, and always willing to help. Thank you, Bahram!

Bahram is excellent. Very knowledgeable, responsive and also has a keen eye for aesthetics and listens to the customer. His crew was good and knowledgeable as well.

We had recess lights installed, and some other outlets-related electrical work, they were efficient and got the job done very well. I had a minor unrelated issue in a couple of days and Bahram came the same day and fixed it - very conscientious.

Definitely plan to get additional recess lighting in the house and will be calling Altap Electrical back for this and other electrical work in the house.
