I am writing with immense gratitude and appreciation for Bahram at Altap Electrical today. Contracted for a 200amp panel upgrade to our house yesterday. His communication was always clear and precise. On day of service, his team was efficient, finishing the job quickly & cleanly. He coordinated with the city for final inspection and permits signed off, pg&e, everything was done by 3pm and he departed, done.
But, due to no fault of Altap, a part of my house was not working properly. Power was out, lights flickering, bulbs literally blew. Bahram immediately came back, spent quite a few hours trying to diagnose the anomaly as night fell, then came back this morning and solved the issue- which was pre-existing wiring problem created inadvertently by a contractor who remodeled our kitchen years ago. Other's I think would have left me hanging by I sense Bahram was concerned for our family and fixing the problem. Throughout the whole ordeal, he was so professional, kept his cool and was immensely patient and fully focused on his craft. I cannot express how thankful our family is today for his sacrifice of time and skill to restore our home to normal. He is now on the top of my short list of trusted businesses and I highly recommend his with no hesitation to others. THANK YOU AGAIN BAHRAM!!

I called Altap Electrical this morning and spoke with Bahram regarding an emergency that we had where we lost power in our living room only which is where our WiFi is located and so I couldn't do any of my work. Bahram was able to schedule us in for the same day with an hour window which is amazing and he was right on time! Bahram is very professional, knowledgeable and also very friendly. He was able to troubleshoot and determine the cause of the problem extremely fast.

They just finished upgrading the main panel to 200 amp, add Tesla wall charger and a dedicated 20 amp line for treadmill. Happy with not just the end result but also the experience of working with them. I got several other quotes, and their quote was most reasonable (close to being lowest).
They were on time, came when they said they would, were respectful of the house and cleaned up after.
During the first visit they moved a few heavy items in garage and didn't put them back. After my complaint they took care of it next time.

On the final visit, they ensured that we have minimal disruption and power outage. Silicon Valley power disconnected power around 9 and we got it back before 4. They planned their work in a way that they finished most of the work in first two visits and got new panel mounted. On the 3rd visit when SVP came to disconnect power in morning, they were able to connect new panel quickly and get SVP back to reconnect power. This ensured that there was little to no risk of work not finishing on the day after power disconnect and us having to stay without power for longer than few hours.

Bahram and his team were great to work with. Bahram gave us his honest opinion and quoted over the phone/email. They installed 17 smart recessed lights for us with minimal mess.

The only thing is that if you are picky about where you want your lights (like I am) - you have to let them know. Bahram will gladly do what he can to help but if you don't say anything, they will place them in the most logical place for the install. I wish I had asked to have some lights in different places. But that's on me because I'm sure Bahram would do whatever he could to accommodate my requests.
