He installed two new ceiling lights for me and disposed of the old ones. His work was quick and thorough and we were very happy with the results. My sister and her family just moved into her home and needed to hang a large (and very heavy) antique mirror, a few paintings, and mount a flat screen TV. Initially, we were going to go the TAKL route but it was tough to price with a single provider on the app. Having had previous success with Yelp, we decided to use that to search for handyman services. We saw several with mixed reviews then saw Al's with 5-stars. I was hesitant at first given there were only six reviews at the time. However, after reading each one, and realizing that Al was a hands-on business owner, we decided it wouldn't hurt to get a quote.

Al responded to the request very quickly and showed up on time. After I showed him all the work that needed to be done, I asked whether he happened to know how to program a garage door keypad. Without any hesitation, he read the instructions on the keypad, flipped the garage light assembly where the switch to program was and helped me figure it out. Turns out the battery on the keypad just needed to be replaced. He even left me a little screw driver so I could open the battery compartment once I got the 9v battery I needed. He did all this ""gratis""!

While I had originally planned to get more quotes, this small act of kindness demonstrated Al's commitment to customer service, which is unfortunately rare to find these days. Additionally, I told Al that we neither had the tools nor supplies needed to do all the hanging and installation work and he said he would take care of getting them. As such, we decided to move forward and scheduled him for the work.

As expected, Al showed up on time yesterday, got the job done quickly and well. He accepts payment via Zelle which was a big plus. My sister was quite pleased with his work and has asked Al for another quote do screen replacement for her back patio.

So here's the short version of my review. If you need work done around your house, call Al -- you will definitely be happy you did.

Ala helped me with some emergency work at my house, charges very reasonably, and is a wonderful person. Got to the site on time, finished quickly, and was even able to work quietly enough to keep my son from waking up! Wonderful experience! I'll definitely hire them again!

Thank you so much Al! I needed a quick installation of a special door lock and I called Al and he came the next day to work on it. Easy to communicate with and a really nice guy! Al came to do the job was friendly, efficient, and worked hard. He knew exactly what to do and what material to work with and Im so thankful for him!
