Knew what he was doing with carpentry, stucco, and painting. Demo'd a rotting wooden facade wall for me, rebuilt it from scratch, and stucco-ed it. His stucco work almost completely matches the rest of the house; after a bit of weathering you wouldn't know it's new!

I have waited a few weeks to give Al the opportunity to fix his work before I posted a negative review. I reached out to Al to get a quote for my son's home. He is a nurse and works night in ICU and Emergency so during the day he sleeps so i offered to help find a handyman for an issue they had with the bathroom. I spoke to Al he seemed professional and gave my son his information. He was hired to do a bathroom that Included the installation of a toilet. The work was subed out but he assured them that he would be responsible for the work. Fast forward the toilet install was done incorrectly and water is just pouring out to the first floor when you flush. My daughter in law reached out to him and he said he would come by and fix the problem. Before that she confirmed that the problem was indeed the toilet install with a plumber that Al suggested they do Incase it was a pipe issue. Well here we r weeks out from installation Al has been paid in full and he will not answer their calls or text messages. Because I recommend him I reached out to him and asked that he would do the right thing and come and check his employees or subs work. After making one appointment after another with them and no show he has gone silent. No response no contact nothing. But he has kept the money that was paid for the job.
I chose Al because of the good reviews but now I'm not sure these are even true.

Also I gave Al over 2 weeks to make this right before I posted a review as I believe everyone can have issues, but he never even bothered to respond.
Save urself a big headache and find a handyman that actually does their own work.

Terrible professional, terrible experience. He had done a service for me before and everything went as expected. He came for a 2nd service and used the ""trust"" we've developed, according to him, to ask if he could receive full payment in advance. After I paid him, he stopped answering my calls, messages... when I call from a different number and he ends up answering his phone, he says he is going to solve the issue right away and, of course, disappears again. I couldn't be more disappointed.

Al did a really great job and he was reasonably priced! He was extremely responsive and the work came out perfectly. Really could not have asked for a better job. He will be our new go to for home projects!

Wel I did not want to get to this point! At the beginning I was happy to find some body who looks profecíonal and can do the job of redoing my bathroom I
They came and redo my bathroom and ""looks good "" but just that only look Because after the 1st use of my new toilet this one overflow. I got rainfall water downstairs.
I contact right away Al for it and he say he will come to fix the problem( probably wasn't well mounted on the rinwax, his words)
After several ( countless ) calls and excuses it's been almost 4 weeks and still no showing up to reinstall properly my toilet. We give him a lot of chances and we just get justifications about been busy and keep promising coming to fix it next day ( we call every day)the las past week we just got voice mail or no answer to our texts.
Very sad! We was exited about our bathroom and even talked about giving more jobs around the
house ! well this not will happen.
I contract him for his good reviews here but I'm very upset and disappointed for the fact that he's been avoiding this situation.
The frustration it's big! Imagine spend thousands of dollars ($3000
Only in labor paid to him) In a job and not been able to enjoy the results!
Do not trust him, because if something go wrong he will just disappear ... and let you hanging with a job incomplete.
