Al's Handyman didn't impress me. I was asked when I was available and I gave two time frames. He didn't come based on either time. Instead he called me later in the day and I ended up canceling an appointment to accommodate him and get an estimate. I had given a photo by email of the most important item to be fixed. Then a phone consult and finally he needed to come out. I never got an estimate for that job.

He was able to give me a quote on something that was not previously discussed. I was told it would be $50.00 to hang each of the 35 inch vertical blinds. I thought that was okay but really needed to take care of the other issue first.

I got the feeling that he didn't like dogs so I tried to keep my fur babies away. Many Yelpers have written good reviews for this Handyman. Unfortunately I didn't have that kind of experience.

Al was great and so professional. I literally contacted him and 5 minutes later I had a quote and he was coming the next day. The job he did was great, was on time, and super nice. I highly recommend him for your handyman needs.

I'm giving Al 2 stars instead of ZERO stars because he did pick up my Framed Sliding Bathtub Door for me from Home Depot and deliver it to me for free! He had a full weeks notice before the job was scheduled to begin. On the day of installation, he arrived 2 hours late, and then wasn't able to do the job, claiming he didn't have the right tools. We set an appointment for the following day. 10 minutes after he was supposed to be here I had to call him again for an eta. He stated he needed an hour or more to go to Miami to get the proper tools, which he hadn't done yet??? He did offer to come out Saturday evening, but I declined. I was concerned because he spent a lot of time reading over the instructions - I just got this gut feeling perhaps this wasn't something he was familiar with installing? I hired someone else to do the job, but attempting to deal with Al set my project completion back several days, and I wasted two different days, arranging my schedule each day, only to have him not show. He seems nice, but I need a professional who can actually do the work, and do it on the scheduled day, at the scheduled time.

Al was awesome! I had an urgent plumbing issue and called and asked if he could come by today. He let me know he would need an hour and showed up an hour later. He was friendly, focused, worked quickly and did a good job at an affordable rate. I will be using his services again in the future.

I have had Al help me on two occasions and both times he was extremely kind and professional! He is an honest man and his work reflects this. He is diligent, helpful, and has good energy. I am 36 weeks pregnant and can't really do much handiwork. He was always very courteous and would ask me how I felt. I had him install a curtain rod+holders in 2 rooms, hang a large painting in my living room, assemble a bookshelf, install a bidet, install a filtering shower head, assemble a tv stand, and he even helped me take a bunch of boxes to storage. He did great work and if we need anything else we will he contacting him again. Thanks Al!
