Impossible to contact or schedule an appointment. Woman who answers phone is rude and unhelpful. If your home protection program assigns them to you, just ask for a different electrician.

OMG! They serve American Home Shield and they are terrible. Missed appointment -- put in wrong part on next appointment -- missed appointment to fix that and American Home Shield would not refund money so I could use it to get it fixed by a competent repair person.
American Home Shield and ""Allstar"" - BAD! Service was SAD!
Stay away!

One of the worst contractors I ever had to deal with. Assigned to fix my ceiling fan by American Home Service warranty company. First never called and blamed in on AHS. Then came out and said fan needed a new controller. Week goes by and once I call they tell me the part was ordered and delivery expected in a week. On my next call they tell me they need AHS authorization before they can order the part because it is expensive ($83 at Home Depot). AHS says they never filed a request for authorization. Then the electrician tells me since my ceiling is too high that I need to provide a tall ladder per OSHA! AHS isn't much better and tells me that the contractor is telling them the same story even though my contract is with AHS and not this inept electrician. Now the repair ticket is 34 days old and still in limbo because the electrician is not cooperating with AHS and AHS says they need the diagnosis before they can assign repair to another contractor. Who's on first or is this a Dumber and Dumber sitcom. They also have the nerve to say that they will charge the $75 service call because they came out to the house. My contract with AHS says that the $75 covers diagnosis and repair so good luck dealing with Chase when I contest the charge because they refused to perform the service. They don't deserve any stars because of never calling back when they say they would, lying about ordering the part, trying to deceive a customer that OSHA requires the customer to provide a ladder and never following up with AHS to for diagnosis, authorization or saying they cannot perform the repair. BTW they could rent a 12ft ladder at my local HD for $18 for 4 hours but that would require looking for a solution.

I wish I could say I had a better review than those listed. The guy was very rude, short, and completely puzzled by our issue. It took him way longer than it should to diagnose the issue (light fixture hot all the time and outlet not working). He had an attitude from the minute he walked in and didn't even bring his own ladder. I had three items he was supposed to look at, but after seeing his attitude over the one item; I just dropped the rest. Now looking for a competent electrician for those things. And again, this was an AHS paid service call.

R&R Allstar Electric came out in March, took my deposit ($400) and never came back to do the work...it's almost September. I have called more than 20 times and always get a voicemail. None of my calls have been returned and they have made no attempt return my phone calls.
If I could give 0 stars I would.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, they don't even deserve one star. They were sent by AHS for a fan issue. I put in the ticket November 2016. They came out and fixed one part but the fan was still not working so he said he has to order another part which was fine. They did not come back for 3 months. Then, another guy came out and said that he didn't have the right part and yelled at me bc the fan did not have an outlet box which was not my fault. So he leaves and says he will order the part. I ended up calling a week later asking a status because it had already been months. The lady said nothing was ordered so I called again and she told me that it doesn't help that I keep calling lol. I was like what!?! So I ended up talking to the manager and she apologized and said she would fix this. They never did anything. I called and called for months no one ever came back or called. I ended up finding the part myself online and hiring a freaking electrician to have him install the part. I paid an extra $150 on top of what I already paid this company. Do not let them come out to your house if AHS sends them. They are the worst company EVER even the managers are stupid and do not care!!!!

Horrible customer service over the phone. We are not even going to use them. We were referred to them by our home warranty company. I missed their initial call, and called back 3 times, leaving 2 messages over the course of 2 hours. When I called the 4th time, a woman picked up and immediately said she had just called my husband. She didn't seem interested in talking with me about the problem at all. She just said ""your husband said he will be calling you."" Okay, well, talk to me, too! The order was in my name anyway. I told her that I had called back a few times. She said ""well, that means I was on the phone, and if you had left messages, I would have known that you called."" I said, ""I did! 2 of them, but that's okay, whatever, you have a good day."" I hung up. She was so rude! I called my husband and he said she was rude to him, too. He said he had set up an appointment, but I told him to call back and cancel it. I refuse to give rude people my business. Not to mention the price they gave was absolutely rediculous!

SCAMMERS. Try to sell you repairs you do not need. They are part of American Home Shield Warranty. These are the contractors you get when you purchase american shield warranty. Beware.

We were forced to use this contractor since we paid AHS American Home Shield to take care of our small home fix-it needs since we're disabled and don't have the ability to do so ourselves. R&R are the most unprofessional, rude, questionable outfit we ever dealt with! From dealing with the dispatcher who is on some kind of power trip and doesn't allow us to speak and acts condescending on the phone with us; to the electrician who doesn't call ahead as promised to let us know he's running late, or rudely brings his wife/girlfriend to our home while working and seems very unsure about what he's doing and even shocked himself a few times. We do not feel comfortable with R&R's abilities and knowledge which appear limited. We asked AHS for another electrician for that reason, however they only contract with these losers who like to bully disabled seniors. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of R&R!

This company is terrible. I have a home warranty through American Home Shield (AHS). Allstar R&R Electrical was assigned to repair a couple of ceiling fans by AHS. They came out on July 11th and diagnosed a problem with remote receivers in the fans; took the bad receivers and told me they would be back out in a few days to finish the repair. I contacted them numerous times since by phone and they tell me they have no record of this repair (even when I provide them with the invoice and job number from the receipt the technician left me). As I write this on August 6th, my fans are still broken, now have missing parts thanks to R&R, and I have no idea when/if this will be resolved. AHS hasn't been any help either.
