I have to say, I was worried based on the other reviews. I had this company come out because American Home Shield selected them. They scheduled the appointment at a convenient time, actually called to see if they could come a little sooner. The electrician was very nice, knowledgeable, and fast. He found the problem quickly, and fixed it right away (wiring issue). I had no issues, and was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Zero stars. We have been working through AHS since October to get a ceiling fan fixed. The lady that calls you is horribly unprofessional as others have stated. The electrician that finally came out once seemed competent but needed to submit to AHS for approval and then get in parts. It's been almost 2 months. I can't reach anyone at R&R and AHS says they are leaving messages for R&R but then another week goes by and I hear nothing. I tried getting assigned to another company after the initial problems with scheduling an appointment but AHS has no other electrical companies they contract through. RED FLAG!

Right now, I couldn't be more aggravated with this company. They were sent out by AHS, and thus far they have been no help whatsoever.
They didn't call back quickly to schedule the initial appointment, and the woman who did call had an awful attitude. The rep who came out did not call ahead like we were told he would. When he got there, he said he can't find the source of the fault, and will need a second person to assist him, and left us a paper that said the same. He also said that they would be calling us to schedule the follow up.
4 days later, we have not been contacted, so I tried calling them. First, the number I was given by AHS wasn't for them, it was for their Miama branch. Next when I get the right number, the woman hangs up on me right off the bat. Next she says she has no idea why the electrician would need someone else's help. She then indicated that even though we are now 6 days from the initial incident report, that she wants to schedule it another week out, because, ""they don't work on friday"". So they want my 6 year old child to be in a room for almost 2 week with an unknown short that their own electrician can't even find the source of.
I will be contacting AHS about this company. Incredibly displeased.

I had a completely different experience than most of these reviews so I wanted to share.

We just moved into a new home last month, and finally got around to trying to use two electrical outlets in one of the rooms - and neither worked. We were covered by the American Home Shield warranty, so I called them up. Of course they assigned me to Allstar R&R Electrical, and when I googled them after the call I came across this Yelp page and got pretty nervous.

I had nothing to worry about.

I was called two hours after I put in the warranty claim with AHS to schedule an appointment for the next day - I was busy the next day, so I was able to schedule for the following day with no issue. Time was for between 10 and 2, with a call to let me know the tech was on the way. At 11:30 on the service day I got the reminder call, and the tech was out 15 minutes later. He was able to diagnosis the problem (a bent ground wire in the outlet) and resolve it within 30 minutes. Everything went very smoothly. I would have no problems using them again.

If you are directed towards this company from American Home Shield - don't let them in your door and demand a different electrician. This company is the lowest quality of work/assessment and doesn't care about diagnosing the real issue. Will not pay their service fee as AHS should sue them.

Of course like any other company they come give an estimate and said they can come and do the work right away. However, when you call the office for follow up info, like whether or not they sent or received the permit, the office staff has no answers for you. Plus they say they will get back to you but don't. BUT, the big kicker is that I had no idea that they left exposed wires up in my attic. Awful and very scary. DO NOT USE THEM.

After dealing with them off and on for over a month and having a BAD experience. I called the owner Richard which one of 3 things always happened, #1 his cell phone messages were always full, #2 He wasn't working that day or #3 he would say call me back in a few days if you don't hear from me.

The tech first said the lights were burnt out which really was not the problem. The transforms were bad.

American Home Shield should do a better job at contracting work out to good companies.

American Home Shield assigned this company to me and I thought oh boy I can't wait for all the problems. WRONG, they did fantastic work, on time, everything perfect.

I cannot disagree with the only positive comment more. American Home Shield assigned this company to me and they never called me to setup up appointment. When I called them, the woman who answered the phone was very impatient and unfriendly. She even hang up the phone before I finish.

So by July 12th, 2016, this company is not getting better at all.

This company was assigned to me thru my home warrant in November 2015. The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to trace and repair a short in the wiring very quickly. I have read the other negative reviews and I couldn't disagree more. The girls in the office were always friendly and helpful and were able to answer any question that I had. I have since used this company on 3 separate occasions to have misc electrical work done around my home. I have had the same pleasant experience each time. I would recommend this company to anyone that asks.
