I called Allsource in the morning right after opening and they answered promptly. I asked if they could come over and give me a quote on some wiring repair - a technician arrived at my house in just an hour.

I explained that I had accidently nicked a wire when installing a TV mount on my kitchen wall and it caused my cabinet lighting and fluorescent fixture to die. I needed the repair same day if possible. The tech agreed and opened the wall where the wiring was damaged. He quoted $250 to repair and re-route the wiring to a switch panel on the other side of the wall. Seeing as how the previous electrician quoted me almost $600 to do the same job without even looking at the damage, I agreed.

The whole process took a little under 2 hours and I watched the entire time. All my questions were answered and he was friendly and did good work. Both my fixtures lit up afterwards, no problem. When payment time came, they couldn't take a credit card due to a system failure, but I wrote a check and they accepted that.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the service and glad to have my kitchen lit up again.

Yikes! Customer beware.

Called them out for a quote on a (relatively) simple repair of a shorted outlet. The tech, Paul, took a glance at the wall and instantly presented me with an estimate of $625.34 . With such an oddly specific number, I asked him what the breakdown of labor and parts was. ""Oh, we don't break it down like that.""

It's not just that the quote was 2-3 times higher than appropriate (which it was actually fixed for by a well-known company), it's that he made no effort to disguise the blatant guesswork/attempt to overcharge.

Apparently Allsource says they were here 40 minutes.... oddly, my home cameras show the technician was in the house less than 10 minutes.

The wires weren't burnt beyond the outlet at all. I know because the company that actually DID the work looked closely at the damage, provided photos for their estimate... everything you'd want an electrical company to do. I used John Moore. Fast, reliable, and obviously, bonded and performed the work to code. Even better, they never tried to cover bad service with excuses.

Had attempted to replace halogen bulb in pool fixture with led, upon turning on lights heard a pop from switch. Called Allsource who stated to me would be free to come out and give an estimate. Were prompt but after checking switch told me problem was caused by an arc that shorted switch. Returned from truck with a basic on off switch, popped it in and voila lights. Handed me repair slip requesting $129.00 for diagnostics and $150.00 for light switch. TOTAL RIP OFF

My electrical service pole blew down last week. I called Allsource and they were very quick to respond. The gave me a quote to completely replace it with a new one. The quote was for $ 7523.34. I also got a price from Brandt Electrical Services from Katy, TX. for $ 3200.00 . I got Brandt to do the work and could not be happier. When Centerpoint came to reconnect my power they commented on what a great job Brandt did. Also the work they did was better than the previous installation that lasted 34 years. Just saying if you get a quote from Allsource you may want to get one from somebody else. I have $ 4323.34. In the bank from not using Allsource.

I don't usually write reviews, but I called for a last minute technician and Vincent came out promptly and in minutes knew exactly what was going wrong and was able to address it immediately. The experience was memorable and will be calling back next time I need any electrical work done. Thank you guys for being available last minute and taking care of the issue. Actually, there aren't enough thank yous. Easiest 5/5 stars I've ever given. Call these guys.

I needed an inspection for work already completed and called the office for a quote to have someone come out and fill out a permit. We made it clear to the office multiple times over the phone that the city required the company to be on their list of approved electricians to issue the permit, and they acknowledged it wouldn't be an issue, so we went ahead and agreed to have it done. After the inspection was finished we discovered there was an additional $300 to get on that list that was not part of the original estimate. On questioning the change in price, the manager reduced the amount to $150 but stated that charge was a standard fee. If that's standard, why not include it in the original estimate?

Two stars because they were quick with coming out and the electrician was nice and did tell me cost up front. However, what a ripoff. Recently bought a house. Noticed the lights dimmed every time my ac kicked on while painting the spare rooms. My lights in the two bedrooms went out and the breaker box didn't show a tripped switch. I tried toggling the breakers on and off and eventually did the main one with no reset so called an electrician. He told me it's $187 for diagnostics then pushed a button for an arc circuit (didn't know about that) that reset that breaker switch and voila lights on. Cost me $202.79 and took him 30 seconds. Now, he didn't figure out why it tripped in the first place or diagnose why the lights dim every time ac kicks on. If I'm spending $200 for diagnostics and I tell you the issue you should figure out why, not just fix the problem. Definitely will use a different company for future electrical needs if this is how much a simple fix costs...didn't win over my future business.

I called Allsource to repair a broken drop mast. The journeyman who gave me my estimate (Paul) suggested I also replace my 50-year-old meter can. I agreed and the guys came out the next day (after I'd arranged a temporary disconnect). They were quick, friendly, and efficient, but that would only earn them four stars.

During the work, which involved a new connection to the breaker main, they determined that the connector screws on the main were fused and that I'd need a new main breaker. This turned out to be something of an ordeal, since the breaker set in my box was somewhat old, and had been discontinued. They found one and installed it.

Shortly after they left, my power went out. I checked the breaker box to find smoke stains and the acrid aroma of ozone. I was pretty sure the new main had been a bad one, so I called them back. Paul came back by and checked it out, determining that it had not been the main, it had been a 40-amp 4-pole breaker that had blown so hard it had melted the buss.

Despite the fact that it had been my own old equipment that had caused the fault and damage, Allsource offered to replace my breaker box at half the cost. I agreed, and they came back out the next day (by this time it was getting dark), and I am as happy as a clam.

I am a first time homeowner and 4 days into moving in our power went out in half of our house. Mario answered our call as he was closing the shop and came by our house even though he was on his way home. He was out at our house within 20 minutes and was extremely informative and helpful. After taking a look he fixed the issue within minutes and didn't even charge us because it was only tightening a wire. We would have been stuck in a house with no AC or working appliances...
