Company Overview

As a family-owned company, we focus on providing outstanding plumbing and electrical services to Georgia residents and businesses. We provide emergency services around the clock, with a technician ready to assist you at any time for your plumbing and electrical needs.

Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating and Cooling is a recognized leader in the industry, proudly serving the community for over a decade. We ensure our technicians are well-trained and continually educated to keep their skills sharp and knowledge up to date. Led by veterans Melvin and Melissa Music, our family-owned company prioritizes safety, with annual background checks for all technicians.

We provide transparent pricing in writing, complete with options and warranties for our valued clients. Our focus on exceptional customer service drives us to achieve your full satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied, please inform us, and we will resolve the issue.

After serving as a US Marine, Melvin pursued plumbing and HVAC training in Arizona. Once he graduated, Melvin joined a well-regarded plumbing company in the Phoenix region. Upon moving to Georgia and working with various plumbing companies, he discovered that none operated as efficiently as the one in Arizona.

In 2003, Melvin and his wife Melissa, also a veteran, established Allgood Plumbing, guided by the principle of treating others as they wish to be treated. This philosophy remains at the core of Allgood's mission.

In 2013, we broadened our offerings to include electrical services, transforming into Allgood Plumbing and Electric. In January 2016, we introduced HVAC services, expanding our offerings based on customer demand.

Currently, Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating & Cooling employs more than 50 licensed and skilled team members who share our core values.

I would not recommend Allgood to anyone. I evaluate companies across three criteria: quality of work, communication, and reliability. Allgood failed across all three measures.

Background: they quoted repairing a shower faucet. They ended up ripping through the tile and drywall. The scope of work said ""repair shower faucet"". They denied it all and it took over 15 calls to actually get someone on the phone to try to get to the bottom of it. They never acknowledged they were in the wrong.

Quality of work: I'll give them credit--they installed the hot water heater just fine. The other 3 things they worked on were not finished or did not work. Every time they came out, they left tools and had to come back or they forget parts and had to leave the house and go buy them (or borrow them from me).

Communication: They took 3-4 days to call me back. The shower they left me with was not operable. They use their receptionist to try to intimidate you / talk you down. After 4 weeks they sent someone out to ""fix"" their work's mistakes, but they did not communicate that they were coming out and I was not home, so they said I didn't accept the work. Communication was not allgood

Reliability: Every time estimate they quoted me (e.g. 2 hours to fix) was off by 3-6 hours, which ended up taking up entireties of my day. The other work they enstalled did not work and we had to repair/replace it. The shower they installed did not have all of the requisite pieces and they refused to acknowledge that the pieces were missing. The allgood promise was not all good.

Buyers beware of Allgood Plumbing! Allgood Plumbing changed a bad sump pump in September 2018 for $1,000.00. Gave me a year warranty. I had them check the pump early September 2019 before warranty ran. Told it's running fine. Sump pump malfunctioned last week. Today I was told by the technician he can check on whether he can get it to work for $650.00. If can't get it to work $1000.00.

Called them a week ago for a simple service check we only use our heating for a few short months the gas is turned on and functional just wanted a tech to check the two units. Appointment is made and then the tech is a no show they call and reschedule then the next appointment they call and say they are too busy to keep the appointment. Time to find a company that wants some easy work.

Artificially inflated price. Took advantage of a disabled Veteran with severe breathing problems. 100% disabled and 100% service connected. On Oxygen.
AllGood used a form of the bait and switch routine. Try to sell a ridiculously high priced unnecessary procedure ($2800): So the customer will be relieved to pay the smaller amount, even though it was double the expected price ($760). My roommate had set this up with AllGood, but he was out of town on business and could not be reached.

Josh, from AllGood, did a simple repair on the shut off valve and short pipe (less than 2 feet) located just on my side of the front yard water meter. We had already diagnosed it long before his arrival. We were expecting between a $300 to $400 bill. Josh worked about 2 hours and used about $150 to $175 in parts. Josh (from AllGood) arrived and tried to sell me an un-necessary replacement of the line going from the water meter to my house (He wanted $2800). I was outside severely short of breath (COPD). I could barely stand up. He had me sign a paper for $760. No listing of labor cost. No listing of parts cost. In addition, He left leaving the yard torn up and created pot holes in the lawn that the lawn mower will fall into. Permanently damaging the mower. I wish there was a law: Stopping people from taking advantage of a disability.
Strongly recommend that no-one ever use AlllGood services.

Similar to what others experienced, my AC unit was not working and I was told by Allgood that the unit had to be replaced at a cost of $6,000 and that they could have a sales rep contact me the next day to arrange purchasing the new unit. Also they came much later than the appointment time. Contacted another company and they came out the very next morning, identified the problem and fixed it for $350. The unit has been working well ever since. Allgood charged $100 to come out only to try to sell a new unit I did not need. Will leave judgement to others as to whether this was a scam. I do not appreciate paying $100 for something that was not true. Will not do any business with this company in the future.

I renovated my house before selling it this year and I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They are dishonest, irresponsible, unresponsive, and horrible to work with. Scheduling an appointment with them is like not having one at all, because they show up whenever they want and not when they told you they would. They were hired to do an extensive plumbing job and left multiple gas leaks after moving the gas line to my stove, a huge leak under the bathtub after replacing the tub drain, and another huge leak under the master bathroom after installing a new sink/vanity. When I reported the horrible work to the company, they repeatedly told me a manager would call me but never did. I had to dispute the charges through my credit card company, and only got half back, even though their ""promise"" is a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT hire these people.

I had an emergency so called Allgood at 6pm. The two-hour wait (understandable) turned into 3 hours; I called and they said another hour. This was after 10pm. I called again around 10:30pm asking if at that point if anyone would show up, and they said they'd call the technician to have him call me. I waited up until 12am and no one ever called. At minimum I would have appreciated a call to say ""I'm sorry, no one is available tonight."" This was terrible customer service.

Outragously expensive! I was told there was a $39 fee for coming and looking, but they didn't tell me the estimate would be an additional fee, $170, and he was here 30 minutes. The estimate was for over $1400 for all of the requested services. A local plumber did the same work, with excellent quality at $485. WOW!

This company's HVAC techs are actually just sales reps. Allgood came out to inspect my heating in the winter of 2016-17. The ""tech"" spent less than a few minutes listening to my furnace and wrote it off as a total replacement, not worth any money to repair. He spoke to me in a patronizing manner the entire time about how he ""liked me for some reason"" so much that he wouldn't be turning the gas off because 'normally' this would have been a hazardous situation and it would be his 'responsibility' in the state of Georgia to keep me safe. He then took his 100$ and left and sent a ""comfort advisor"" (their titles, not mine) to come by and give me a quote for a full replacement (about $7,000).

I ignored their quote and continued to use the heating because it was still limping along. The next winter I was having the same issues again and this time called a different HVAC company, whose technician spent more than 2 hours in the crawl space inspecting the furnace to see what was going on. He fixed the issue, and charged about 350$. The same furnace has been running like new since, no issues at all for a couple years now. If I had listened to Allgood I would have wasted thousands.

AND to top it all off, they will continue to spam call you forever regardless of how many times you ask them to take you off the call list, up to today, which is what prompted me to finally write them the review they deserved. My suggestion would be to not even call this company in the first place.

This company is a complete bait and switch operation. I had the company come and inspect my furnace for 3 years and suddenly the guy that came out today said it's full of asbestos. How has no other technician ever seen it and magically it's laden with asbestos? Awful company with terrible service and idiots for technicians. NEVER NEVER use this company.
