Following his service in the US Marine Corps, Melvin attended technical school in Arizona to study plumbing and HVAC. After finishing school, Melvin gained experience at a top plumbing firm in Phoenix. Upon moving to Georgia and working with various plumbing companies, he discovered that none operated as efficiently as the one in Arizona.

In 2003, Melvin and his wife Melissa, also a veteran, established Allgood Plumbing, guided by the principle of treating others as they wish to be treated. This principle continues to guide Allgood's operations today.

In 2013, we broadened our offerings to include electrical services, transforming into Allgood Plumbing and Electric. Our growth continued with the addition of HVAC services in January 2016, responding to requests from our valued customers.

Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating & Cooling has grown to include over 50 licensed experts who align with our company values.

Actually, if I could give 0 stars, I would.
Sunday, I called Allgood Plumbing @ 12:47 pm and I set an appt for Monday, Jan 4 for between 8 and 11 am. Monday, I called Allgood @ 11:22, because I had not heard from anyone. I was told that someone would call me between 10 & 15 minutes. No Call. At 2:39 pm, I called again, spoke to a guy named Jay?? His accent was heavy Indian, VERY hard to understand, plus their phone kept blipping. Now I am A BIT upset that nobody has called or shown up yet. And I cannot understand the guy...He says that the appt was at a house we had sold 10 years ago. I told him no! And that I had given the correct address & 2 Phone numbers last night! Repeated the address again to him. He started saying: Ma'am! Ma'am!! Let me say what I am saying!! Ma'am! Ma'am!! Like I am making a big Stink!! I tell him that I had made the appt yesterday and made sure I gave the correct address. AND he says they had no phone #!!! Transfers the Dispatcher to me, her name was something like Tashiti. She gets on the phone and immediately says MAAM! MAAM! YOU NEED TO LISTEN! I was NOT yelling at her. Evidently, she is putting on a show for somebody. I hope Melvin gets a copy of this. I managed a company for 10 years and have never heard of such horrible service. I am APPALLED. I did call back to try to get the names. Mel and Melissa truly need to know their dispatch office does this crap. Totally unacceptable! And I will be reaching out into my friends and My network and letting them know what has transpired. And I will be telling ALL, about the service. Even if I have to put a sign on my car and drive up and down the street. Or park in front of the offices.
And I will be.

The plumber did almost NONE of what I asked for. This was a replacement of a water pump in a barn. He used only pvc pipe - far too weak to withstand animals bumping into it or messing with it. He put the turn handle right up against the exterior stall wall with no room whatsoever to reach your hand around behind it. Forced to turn it on using multiple small movements from the front only. Ridiculous. The hose attachment faced straight out, not down, causing the hose to stick out - another hazard for the animals - easy for a goat's horns to get stuck in there and pull the whole thing out. And the worse part? He secured the new fixture to the exterior stall wall using screws that went THROUGH the stall wall and poked out the other side by at least and inch! Right next to a horse water bucket! Total hazard for a horse's face!! I was livid.
It took Allgood several days to get someone to come back out. They canceled and changed my appointment 3 times! And even when they did show up, that person was only sent to look at it, not repair the job done wrong. Still waiting for them to actually come and do the job right.
Terrible terrible work. Terrible communication. Terrible customer service. Will NEVER use them again and will make sure all my friends and family know not to use them. Horrible company!!!

I recently had a toilet replaced. The repairman was on time and did the work quickly, however, they charged an arm and leg...almost $900. Shame on me for not getting the quote before they came out. I have used them before, and prices were fair but on the high side. If a toilet retails at $300, and they are charging $600 for 45 minutes of work, that is beyond high. I asked for a itemized invoice, but they just charged a flat fee. The repairman was short and not professional.
I called the office, and no one called back. The repairman offered a $50 discount, but that isn't much considering what they charged. I think I need to look for a new plumber in the future.

My appointment was scheduled between 5 and 7. At 7, no one had shown up or called. I was told someone would call me back. I did not hear back. At 8, I called again. I was told I'd have to speak with the after hours service.
The next day, no one contacted me. I called and canceled!!!!

In short:
-All Good likes to screw people by charging nearly 2x their competition. (nearly $12,000 for a Heat pump and ducts in an unfinished 1,000 Sq Ft basement.)
-All Good does not honor their own contracts and terms.
-All Good employees are rude and pro-port they have the best techs in the area and no one else can install an HVAC system for a reasonable price.

I signed the agreement to have All Good install an HVAC system in my basement, with the understanding I had 3 Business Days to cancel it.

The next day, I received 2 competing bids, which included an AC unit that was 1/2 a ton larger and a higher SEER or nearly half the price!

I called in to cancel it and the install appointment and I shipped the signed cancelled contract via Fed Ex Next Day. Well within the 3 business days.

I waited patiently for 15 business days for my credit card to be refunded the deposit. Their terms indicated I would receive a refund within 10 business days.

I had to file a Fraud claim with my Credit Card Company. SMH

Buyer beware!

I called All Good based on recommendation of a friend after a plumber I had previously scheduled was a ""no show"".

One issue was a leak in my toilet tank. The person they sent advised me that my entire Kohler toilet tank was one single unit, ""parts"" could not be replaced and that my two options were 1. replace the entire tank for about $392.00, and 2. replace the entire toilet, which All Good would install for a similar $392.00 price (I would be responsible for purchasing the toilet separately).

I live in a Condo. A few days after the All Good estimate, a building engineer was in my unit for an unrelated issue. I asked him to look at the toilet. Turns out I needed a part. Yes, parts are available for my toilet. He fixed it and charged me $50 labor and parts!

All Good was deceitful. Tried to charge me almost $400 for a $50 job. Shameful!

I phoned All Good. Explained the situation to the receptionist who was very kind and assured me that I would hear from customer device within a few days. I have not heard a word.

I was advised over the phone that the tech would wear a mask. He did-- on his chin.

We declined services, even though that means we have to wait until the weekend is over to have water.

Allgood first came out 2 weeks ago to fix a toilet that wasn't filling. Then just this past week the toilet has started spontaneously and intermittently running.
Then on Friday evening my kitchen sink started to back up, which was a new problem for me. Being as I'd used Allgood in the past I called them again, to fix both. I was told they couldn't come out until Monday morning. At that point, I thought that was fine because on their website it says they service 24/7 and emergencies. So I thought if it turned into an emergency I could just call them again. Well. Suddenly last night at 10pm it DID turn into an emergency- the sink (which I haven't used since it started acting up on Friday) backed up ALL the way, and the water had run ALL OVER the counter top, into the dishwasher and All Over the floor. In a panic I called Allgood again and told them this was now an emergent situation and I needed someone to come out That Night instead of Monday. I was told I would get a call from a technician when they were close to my home. Never got a call. So I called them back at 11:30pm and spoke to someone else. She said she couldn't see any order or message and she would send a message to dispatch but there was no one there, so there was no one for her to talk to. I guess you electronically send a message and hope someone might be checking them?? The website SAYS they are available 24/7 and that they Respond to EMERGENCIES but I guess that's Only if they're not asleep?????? So. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME. Nor did anyone show up. I called them back at 7 this morning and spoke to someone that sounded like I just woke them up. Told her the same story. She said she'd put in a ticket to dispatch and I'd get a call. Ha. Mind you, I have been telling them since my call at 10pm that it IS emergent. DON'T ADVERTISE THAT YOU ARE AVAILABLE 24/7 AND THAT YOU RESPOND TO EMERGENCIES WHEN YOU CLEARLY DON'T!!
I called another plumber at another company who is coming out.
Allgood is a WASTE OF TIME. I thought that I had found a reliable service but I was met with incompetence in an emergency. If I could give no stars I would.
They are FALSE ADVERTISING AND UNRELIABLE.

This review does not have so much to do with the tech as it does Allgood, the company. Allgood covered electrical, HVAC, and plumbing needs, which was great, because I needed all these services. First, I would like to say being a veteran, I appreciated that this company was founded by a veteran. Although that is not the only criteria I use in determining whether or not I would choose a company over another, it does carry significant weight. I can say without a doubt, I put too much weight in that category this time. I'll try to be brief. This was the third company I scheduled appointments with. All were around the same for estimates. Well, let me go back. Allgood (I spoke with Trevor) stated that it would be $39 for an electrician to come out after explaining the situation (which is I am selling and the buyer's inspector dinged us on some things-I had the complete report, so I knew exactly what was required, I just needed the estimate). So $39, that's cool. I also needed an HVAC tech and, again, I told Trevor exactly what was required according to the report. So the tech comes out. I again explain what I need and show him the inspector's report, complete with pictures. The tech was nice enough, but I was taken aback when he said he visit was $99! I was not told this. I would never have agreed to this, as I knew exactly what was required, all I needed was an estimate, which the other two outfits were going to provide free! I didn't put up much of an argument, only stating that I was not told there would be a charge for the estimate. He said there's always a $99 charge. I challenge anyone to find it stated on their website. It is not stated, nor was I informed. To add insult to injury the estimate was $768! This is more than double the lowest of the other estimates I got!! When I called back to inquire about the $99 charge, I miraculously got Trevor again who remembered me. He seemed to be, at first, at a lost for words when I asked for an explanation how the electrician's estimate was lower than that of the HVAC guy when the electrician actually had to use a multimeter, at least, and the HVAC guy didn't have to use one piece of test equipment. It just didn't make sense, and more so when I came across a page on their website that listed criteria for charging for an estimate, which included using test devices or cutting drywall. He maintained that he had informed me, by virtue of the fact that there is always a charge, so he must have told me, which is basically what I was told. Trevor said that he would ""look over"" some things and call me back. I had no reason to believe I would have received a return call. Perhaps I could have given the benefit of the doubt, but at that point, I had had enough of Allgood and their shiggity, so I to,d him not to worry about it as I would not be using them for anything now nor in the future. I will never call these grifters again. But based off the number of positive reviews (assuming they are real), they have enough suckers to keep them in business. Not me. Sorry, not sorry...So I had to include addendum, since I had two different techs, and the separate emails requesting reviews keep bringing me back here. Again, the estimate for the electrical work was outrageous! Consistent with the HVAC estimate, it was very near double the other estimate I got. Allgood is NOT all good. I'll never call on this outfit again.
