Cynthia knows her craft. She is promt and fast. The first time she came, she showed me that I didn't reset the breaker correctly. While here, she made a recommendation for better quality lighting in my kitchen so I had her come back and make the improvements. She was running a little late and called me to let me know. Allen's Electric is amazing!! I can't praise them enough. About 6 months ago I bought an older (1950's) home in Stockton. I've had significant problems with the electrical and they have come out and done significant work at a reasonable price. They came out to repair a socket that burned and at the same time serviced the electrical panel getting rid of several issues in my old panel and getting the electricity on in the converted garage (which another electrician said would cost $1200.00). They also found I had serious (about to burn the house down) issues with an old panel I thought was no longer in use. When opened, that panel was too hot to touch and arcing. If they hadn't been there and taken quick action, things could have gone very badly for me and my family. Allen's Electric took the time to educate me about maintaining my electrical panel, and how to ""baby"" the wiring in my older home to avoid problems and the need to rewire my entire home. When the old panel was replaced, they also repaired my door bell and showed me how to maintain my panels to prevent future problems. They have been more than willing to answer my numerous questions about appliances (just say no to space heaters and toaster ovens), to educate me about the electrical system in my home, and they have made me and my family feel safe! Allen's electric is my electrician. They are friendly, personable and most importantly, extremely competent. Willing to support you in how to do things yourself, safely, or happy to take it all on if you aren't the DIY type. Call Allen's electric today. You won't be disappointed. We have done business with them for over 10 years on multiple electrical upgrades and maintenance; everything from switches and outlets to running new wiring for new needs, like the automated switches that work with our alarm system. They clearly are the best electricians we have ever had the privilege to work with in any of our homes. If we could take them with us to New Hampshire we would do it.
