Purchased a new in the box Briggs & Stratton pressure washer from a Sears store. It was a close out unit they had left. It had a full manufactures warranty. Briggs & Stratton said to take it to a local dealer for warranty repair. I took it to Allen's. They were by far the closest shop. The owner did not want to do the warranty repair. She told me to exchange it with Sears. She claimed it was not warranted by Briggs.
She said she would do the work but then ended up charging for the repair. I would stay away from this shop. Dirty and about the worst customer care and service I have ever seen.
I have contacted Briggs and hopefully they will resolve my issue and correct this dealership.

Horrible service!
We took our mower here under warranty with Greenworks. They don pick up the phone and when they do ""the person that handles that"" is never availabl. Left several messages and never get a call back. They have had my mower for over a month and have not yet reported to the warranty at Greenworks. My husband went personally tonpick it up (the damaged one) and they refused to return it. Save yourself a headache and do not do business with them.

Terrible service and/or follow thru. Fails to show proper business ethics and keep customers notified of repair status. Doesn't keep good time tables while charging a diagnostic fee and failing to even look at the tool. Don't bother to set foot unless you have plenty of time to wait for repairs.

It has taken over a month to get a warranty repair complete. They tell you it can take a week, yet it has been over 4 weeks and I am still waiting. The lady tells you that they will call you back with a status, but the call never arrives. Do not step foot in this place. It is dirty and nowhere to walk because of all their ancient tools laying around all over the place. It was a mistake ever taking my business here. If you can find another location to do the Ryobi warranty claim, go for it. Not worth the trouble and headache. Oh and I am still waiting on my repair. They are liars and know nothing of customer service.

I hate to have to update my review but I had the chance to give them my business and they weren't communicative or responsive at all. I had two small pieces of lawn equipment there for over 3 months and neither came back fixed. Thankfully it was the winter and I didn't need either. I was told it'd be about two weeks when I dropped them off in Feb. After a month, I called twice and was told I'd be called back with the status of them. I never was.
I stopped in and was told one wasn't worth fixing (which is fine) and the other had a discontinued part but he was going to try to find one for me. He said he'd have an answer in a few days. I never got that call. I showed up again, picked up the first piece and was told that he was almost done with the second... just a few more days.
Literally a month later I went back and said ""I'm here to pick it up, whether it's fixed or not."" He said that he couldn't find the part needed. I went on Amazon as soon as I got home and had it within 2 days.
The thing that really sucks about having to write this is that they're really, genuinely nice people. They're just really bad at running a business. I truly don't understand how they stay in business... they must have some fleet accounts that they maintain. For whatever reason, Yelp wouldn't let me edit my 4 star review so I guess this will have to balance it out.

Knowledgeable and very thorough... willing to talk to you about whatever you have going on. In my case, I had two different problems with a Kohler and Briggs small engines and got tons of advice and help from Steve without having to spend a dime.
I needed to buy a part from him but I found I could buy it for far less online. I told him as much and he shopped around, looking for aftermarket parts instead of the OEM one originally quoted and was able to find one cheaper. I'm happy to give money to a local business whenever possible and will be taking my future problems to him.

this guy is an ass clown... i needed a lamp rewired he took the lamp and said he would do it for 60 bucks. i left the lamp in march, he told me it would be ready in 2 weeks...... long story short it is now july 3rd and after numerous calls and the total runaround i went to go get it done or not. the damn thing was sitting in the same exact spot i left it 4 months ago. and then he tells me that freebie jobs get pushed to the back .... freebie im paying you 60 bucks. Dont bother it will never get done.

I took in a weed whacker 3 1/2 weeks ago and was told that it would be ready a week later. I gave them 3 weeks and then called. I was told that it would be ready the next day. Needless to say, 3 days later, it's still not ready to be picked up. All they could tell me was that it wasn't ready. Summertime in Florida with no weed whacker equals a yard that resembles a jungle. I will never bring anything here again.
