All-Star Electric is the one of the best electric home services I have ever used. Bob, the owner is very professional and honest. His rates are very competitive. He is on time and does not make unnecessary repairs. He is very honest about what work should or should not be done. He is clean and very dependable. When I called him about my number one electrical issue he took me though the steps of the problem on the phone and we resolved it right there over the phone. What a service! I needed to add recessed (can) lighting in the living room and in the master bedroom. Bob came highly recommended by the owner of a local tile shop. We called Bob and he came over to answer some questions we had and to give a quote. He offered the best price by far and he could fit the work into his (and our) busy schedule.

They got here and went right to work measuring and deciding where the living room lights should be placed. Then came the hard part. Bob had to crawl up in the very tight 3-foot attic space to pull wires through regular insulation with blown-in insulation on top of that. (Sorry, Bob, that had to be the worst thing you've done in a while).

Once that was wired up and perfect they went into the master bedroom which has a flat roof (no attic space). Bob and Gloria worked in there for some time installing the lights. When I peeked in it was mostly done and there was only one narrow cut in the ceiling along one wall so the wires could be run through 8 ceiling joists to the switch. An the pieces that were removed from the ceiling were saved so I could easily reattach them and repair the cutouts myself.

Excellent work, quality work, and they even cleaned up after themselves.

They get my highest recommendation and we will be working with them again.

I was referred to All-Star Electric by Fandiego of North County, as a company which could build and hang an expensive, rather complicated fan we purchased from Fandiego. When Bob and his partner Gloria arrived, my wife and I had prepared a list of a number of other electrical projects, as we are remodelling our house.

These folk completed the hanging of the fan, and added switches to our living room, and external lights to our porch and garage.

Two things they did that really got them these well deserved stars. First, their charges were very, very reasonable. Unlike many professionals running around charging outrageous prices for plumbing, electrical, or remodel work just because we have no clue how to do these tasks, All-Star charged us only a more-than-reasonable fee for all the work they did.

The second thing they did, even more impressive considering the reasonableness of their rates, they offered ways to improve our electrical projects without our asking. For example, when we asked to install a switch for the fan, and a dimmer switch for a new recessed light over the front door, they suggested putting these and two older switches together in a four-switch plate of rocker switches, which they actually had in their truck! The result was a much more useable and modern looking set of switches on our dining room wall. The charge for these parts, on their invoice, was less than we would have had to pay at Home Depot.

Very satisfied, and will use again for the next batch of our remodel projects.

I contacted Bob to install a new chandelier in my dining room. Ceiling height slightly greater than 17 feet, so I did not want to tackle this one myself. Bob was professional and did a great job. Thanks for a great experience.

I have Bob as my electrician for well over 10 years and have recommended him to my family and neighbors. He not only is reliable, but very professional and knowledgeable. Over the course of these years he has been instrumental in the best location and types in the renovation of my entire house. The kitchen was the hardest and at his suggestion the appliances are split on different circuits rather than the one that was originally in there. All of my friends and family gladly wait an extra day or two to have only Bob work on their homes. I can't say enough good things about his company. 105 star all the way!!

All star electric installed a ceiling fan in my home. They called and asked if they could come earlier than scheduled which was great. They reviewed what we wanted and made great suggestions. The installation took only 1.5 hours. Before leaving they checked all functions and showed me how to operate at wall switch and with remote. They cleaned up after themselves and left all paperwork in neat fashion. Very reasonable. I'll use again for next fan.
