I did not hire this electrician directly, but he was subcontracted by my general contractor. I made the mistake of not getting a renovation permitted at the time, thinking I'd get it done later, assuming that the contractors & subs would do quality work & that the permit process was just a paper-pushing additional cost. What I didn't realize is that when you do that, you risk the contractors doing a not-to-code job because their licenses aren't on the line. Well, 3 years later, when I did get the job permitted, I found out that All G was not all g. I had to pay an additional $2,000 to another electrician (because All G would not respond to calls from post-renovation permit general contractor) to get my electrical work brought up to code. I was told by the electrical inspector that the original GC never paid All G. Unfortunate, but this reflects poorly on All G too.

I called All G Electric five (5) days ago, & spoke to a nice lady named Penny. I have a serious short-circuit in a main lighting circuit, & she promised to speak with her scheduler & get back to me with a date for repairs.

No call, nothing. I guess All G has so much business that they can afford to blow off potential customers with a problem. As a professional engineer, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere when you're seeking electrical help on the Windward side.
