I contacted this company because another company (Blayney Electric) was a no-show for an appointment. So, I was excited when Emin, the owner and licensed electrical contractor, said he was available. He was friendly and responsive.

Unfortunately, he didn't do a thorough inspection. I had to ask him to test outlets in the carport and storage room. I also had to ask him to test the old knob-n-tube wires that were exposed in the basement. (Good thing I did because the one he tested was live.) He explained that the entire house needed a new panel and to be rewired. His estimate for this was $38,000. He never checked the electric panel (which was located inside the house). Emin also explained that we would need to hire an electrical engineer to draw up plans for this work.

When my spouse, our realtor, and myself asked for alternative options for making ungrounded outlets safer (like switching them out with gcfi/acfi ones) he offered no solutions.

He charged $200 for his ""inspection."" I had to request the inspection report the next day, as he had yet to provide it. It was one (incomplete) paragraphs, with typos, few capitalized words (when needed). It actually had a a sentence that said ""there are no active smog detectors."" Yes- SMOG DETECTORS! He couldn't even take the time to proofread his report.

Oh, and did I mention he also misspelled my name?

I found this electrical provider, All Electrical Services on Nextdoor.com which I am a subscriber and found this company. I am so impressed with Emin who is the owner! Not only is he honest, but he is fair with his pricing as well. I'm happy to say that I will use Emin's services at other properties I manage and recommend him to other people every chance I get!
