Very arrogant and unprofessional - I have home insurance with American Home Shield (AHS), they sent me to ALL AMERICAN ELECTRICAL"" for my electrical repair work. The electrician walked in with a bad attitude and continued to be agitated with his boss and AHS and did not like me asking him any questions about the work he is doing in MY house. He left the job undone and walked out of my garage without even letting me know.
I called ""ALL AMERICAN ELECTRICAL"" to complain about his very rude behavior and left messages. A lady called back and kept cutting me off without letting me explain completely what had happened. She obviously heard the version of the story that the electrician gave her and did not have the courtesy to give the customer a chance to complain or explain. She was like a mama bear and not a customer service rep. Extremely rude, arrogant and inconsiderate. Extremely poor customer service.

Stay Away!!! I have a insurance through American Home Shield and they set me up with these people. They called me and said they would arrive between 2-6pm and because of the distance to my job I stayed home. 6pm rolls around and I call them. The owner tells me that there was a mixup and the electrician didn't get the message. I told him that I lost a lot of money by staying home for nothing today and he told me and I quote ""nobody told you not to go to work"". The nerve of this guy! I ended up cancelling my service request and went with another company. It says something about this company when every review is negative.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional!! We filed a claim through AHS (as did most of the other posters) and the electrician they sent out was condesending, unprofessional, and rude. To make matters worse the electrician couldn't solve our problem and had to reschedule a time to come out again. The dispatcher called the next day to reschedule and proceeded to verbally berate me and act in a completely rude and unprofessional manner. Don't waste your time or money on these rude, unprofessional, and clueless people.

I hate to give this company 3 stars because Julie who works the desk and makes the appointments is the rudest ""customer service"" person I have spoken to in years!!! The ONLY reason I put up with her is because the guy they send to do my electrical work, Tim, is fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and courteous. Tim also made some recommendations for lighting issues I had and how to rectify those in the best/least expensive way possible. He truly is great!! The rest of their employees need serious customer service training.

Where do I begin? The strikes against this company are never-ending. Their services were obtained through my home warranty to fix a ceiling fan. The first time the company called to schedule an appointment they gave my husband a 5 hour window frame, he asked if they could give him a smaller window frame and they hung up him. We didn't hear back until we filed another claim with warranty company. This time they gave a 3 hour time frame, more acceptable so I go with it. The tech showed up 2 HOURS after the time frame. We decided to have the fan repaired rather than replaced so the tech had to come back, this time he showed up within the time frame, but it's the last thing the company did right. The tech said it would take 2 weeks at the most to return the fan, okay that's fine. 2 MONTHS later I get a call from the company to schedule a return. When I inquired about the length of time, the woman on the phone said that it was her fault and that she only schedules the return when the tech is in my area UNLESS I CALL FOR IT! According to her, if I want my appliance back in the time frame they promised me, I have to call them. The company is located less than 10 miles from my home, that's pretty much in the area all the time.

I asked them to check a broken wire connection on the roof of my rental condo. They arrived and immediately climbed on the roof.
Located the broken wire in 5 min, repaired it in 15 min. Altogether was arrived and left in less than an hour.
Their argument for a ridiculous high charge was they had to drive from place X and there were 3 guys that showed up. You be the judge but I think it's rediculous amount.

Charge : $275.00 .

We filed a claim with American Home Shield and they sent American Electrical Services out to diagnose and fix an electrical problem. The technician spent over an hour at my home trying to diagnose the problem and said he needed to come back with his supervisor to help him figure it out. He collected the co-pay of $75 and said the office would be calling shortly to schedule a follow-up visit for the two techs to come back. Almost a week went by with no call from American Electrical. I called them back and the scheduler asked me to give her a couple of days to contact the technician and then call me back to reschedule. After she did not call me back, I found another company to come fix my electrical issue. After all was resolved, I called American Electrical to ask for my $75 back and they would not oblige. WOULD NOT recommend this company. Also, do not be fooled by their friendliness. They come across as very service oriented but are not.

Run away at the mention of their name as fast as you can.

American Home Shield assigned this company to handle a service repair at my home. I was so appalled at the rude office staff and so frustrated trying to set up an appt with them, that eventually I called AHS back and had another electrician assigned to my work order. Thank you AHS.

They say they called me to schedule an appointment but I have no record of a call from them on my phone log and they did not leave a message. When I called them the next day, after getting an email from AHS (saying that All American called to schedule my appointment, but has been unable to reach me they) I spoke with someone who had to be the rudest person I have ever spoken with. She advised that the only time they could come to my home was 3 days later between 10:30 - 1:30. 3 DAYS LATER!! - this was an electrical issue, I don't think 3 days later is acceptable. When I commented that they must be really busy, she said no, that I just needed to be more accommodating with my schedule.

I can't speak to the quality of the electricians, because I never got past the rude staff that answers their phone.

They were great. Went through our home warranty company (American Home Shield) and they come out the same day as our request (expedited request). The electrician took care of our issue within 20 minutes. He came when he was expected and called prior to arrival. He was kind, compassionate and did a great job. Definitely a company I would recommend.

Not professional, do not pull permits but charge you for them (and then do what they are supposed to once you call the city on them), mark up prices after work has begun and the owner has no business communicating with customers at all! Not to mention all the holes that were ""misses"" during their installation process that they just put switch plates over to try and cover up their mistakes.
