Recommended Customer Reviews

Kyle from All American Electrical was terrific. Prompt, efficient and took the time required to diagnose and solve some annoying issues we had with our outlets that another electrician had failed to diagnose correctly. We got them through American Home Shield and couldn't be happier with the service!

I was worried when I saw all the bad reviews, luckily I had a great experience. They were dispatched through my home insurance company. They called me immediately to set up an appointment, and let me know the technician would be in from 10:30 to 1:30. They asked if I wanted a 30 minute notice, I said yes. I received a call at 9:50, and the gentleman on the phone said he was headed my way. He got there at 10:30. My husband let Kyle know our electricity was out in both bathrooms. He fixed the issue in about 30 minutes. He let me know we had a loose wire in the panel that was causing the issue, and that he found another loose wire so he fixed that as well. I gave him a check, he wrote up my receipt and was on his was. Completely smooth process. A guy that has been in the industry for decades, and knows his stuff.

It is very unfortunate that I have to write a bad review. I was referred to All American through AHS, Tim came to my home completed the work that was required and he was very courteous. (My bad customer service experience overshadowed the work he did for me. ) I received a call from my property manager and was told that All American showed my invoice open and with a balance. I knew that this was incorrect because I gave Tim a credit card while he was in my home. I called, and received the WORST customer service EVER! Julie was so rude on the phone, and she even had the nerve to hang up on me... After reading the previous reviews about the bad service people get over the phone from this company. ..I UNDERSTAND... I will never ever use this company again..I think it's safe to assume that Julie must be family and they can't fire her... I would advise anyone, keep looking for another electrical company, heaven forbid you have a customer service issue and need to call......

STAY AWAY. I am never quick to leave a bad review, but the service received was ridiculous. I was originally directed to this company by my home warranty company. Making my appointment was easy and the electrician sent was pleasant...the problem was he did nothing. I had called them to have an outlet fixed and have my outdoor lights fixed. All he did was remove the outlet cover and say that he would need a senior electrician to come out to fix my issue. I asked him if he could look at my porch lights while he was there and he said the senior electrician would look at them. After playing phone tag I was able to get another appointment...they no showed. When I called the woman was super rude and said that I had my dates mixed up. Fast forward 2 weeks, the senior electrician is finally here. He fixed all my issues quickly (because they were very simple and did not require a senior electrician). Fast forward one week, I have no lights in half my house. When I called they said they'd have to look up paperwork and call me back but they wouldn't be able to come out until late next week. So instead of sitting in the dark until then I've decided to go with another business and just pay out of pocket. It will be well worth it not to have to deal with them again.

All American was selected for me by American Home Shield, my home warranty company. The technician arrived without calling ahead, I was lucky my dog barked or I would've missed his knocking on the door. At the breaker box he tested the breaker for the circuit that was the issue and said that it wasn't passing power through. He flipped it on and off several times saying that he was ""exercising it"" tested it again and power was flowing through. The technician then said That to replace it I would have to upgrade from a 30 amp breaker to a 50 amp breaker but that would not be covered by my home warranty service. When I didn't agree to the extra charge (The 30 amp breaker had been carrying the load for the Past 11 years )he said that it would be OK after he exercised it and left it at that. Two days later the circuit failed again. I called them directly to have them come out and replace the breaker but because I had refused the upgrade (paying more money) the woman on the phone got very combative and said I'd have to talk to her service manager and that she would have him call me. He never did. I finally said F-it, watched some YouTube videos, went to Home Depot bought a circuit tester (The breaker was dead again, not thrown) got a new circuit breaker, replaced it myself for 25 bucks. Problem solved but hell will freeze over before I call that company again.

Unfortunately I was referred to this electrician by American Home Shield.
Terrible and worrying service. Although they said they had repaired the fault it wasn't the case -- they didn't test their work whatsoever and left with the circuit still not operating. Their dispatcher told me it was my fault because I didn't supervise their technician -- really? It's my job to supervise their technician?
Would not let them in m house again

I have not been able to get a simple ceiling fan installed for over 2 weeks now. If you ask what the model is you forfeit your place in line.
The scheduler has a very upbeat voice but is rude as hell when you ask what is the fan model going to be.
DO NOT USE THEM
BBB is my next report of poor customer skills and failure to complete the work in a timely manner.

Probably the worst service ever from an electrical services company. Our breaker to the pool tripped and would not turn back on -- it immediately flipped off whenever we tried to turn it back on.
We use American Home Shield and were directed to All American Electrical Services. The technician looked at the breaker and then the pool equipment and said, ""Well, it's able to receive power so it must be the pool equipment"" -- and then left with the breaker still flipped off and the pool not working.
After over a week of phone tag that the company identified as entirely my fault, I looked at the pool equipment and saw that the GFCI outlet was tripped - and wouldn't reset. I ended up replacing the GFCI myself since our pool by this stage was now turning green with algae -- and the next possible visit was 5 days away.
When I finally was able to connect with All American Electrical Services, they refused to return the $75 fee because ""I took it upon myself to make the repair"". I have to wonder why the technician didn't check the GFCI in the first place (since that was what was tripping the breaker). And since nothing was accomplished, I'm left wondering what service was actually provided for the $75 -- especially since a tripped GFCI seems like a rather basic issue for an electrician to diagnose and resolve.
My next contact will be to American Home Shield to recommend dropping this company from their list of service providers.

DO NOT USE!
So I lost electricity on 1 side of my house that I have lived in for only 6 months. A guy comes out walks around for 2 hours and says he can't find the problem and that someone else would have to come. 3 days go by, I call the company trying to find out when that other person is coming and I'm told the work order was in some guys chair but he is in and out of the office so he hadn't seen it yet. Finally 8 days later the new guy comes. He is a strange one walking around talking to himself, finally he says he can't figure it out either but right before he left he had an idea. It worked and I got electricity back. Claims it was not wired right. I'm satisfied, I think. Got a call the next day from him saying as he thought about it he is sure he made a mistake and needs to come back. Then he says I owe him more money. Because since it was wired wrong it never worked in the first place, so the home warranty wont cover it. I explained yes it did work. I have not lived in a house for 6 months without electricity on one side. I told him I even had my house inspected and I was sure that would had been in the report as well. He said well I'm not a liar... Ummmm so he is saying I am. I'm not letting this guy back in my house again. He is a scammer. I'm not sure what he's up to but don't trust him.

DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. WORST service ever. WORST work ever. The technician LIED about my part / repairs to American Home Shield and then lied to me.
Not professional.... at all.
Call ANYONE else, but these people. You have been warned.
