We've had Alex & Alex out three times for our electrical needs.

The first time was an emergency call when our commercial electrical panel had a floating neutral and blew out the power to our entire house. The second was to install a surge protecter in our panel. The third was today to install a floor outlet and european-style chandelier which required some creative thinking.

They are fantastic - timely, reasonable, professional.

We have dealt with an extraordinary amount of terrible contractors and subs during our home remodel (during the pandemic!) and Alex & Alex are wonderful.

I almost hesitated writing this review since I know they'll get even busier but they deserve it. It is a relief to know you have someone you can trust dealing with electrical. I also very much appreciate that they are conscious of keeping their masks on while in our home.

I had an electric water heater installed but the installers left without there being any power to the unit. I contacted 25 of the top rated electricians on Yelp. THIS service contacted me IMMEDIATELY, gave me a reasonable price, and was there within MINUTES. Immediately identified and fixed the problem and even redid the plumbers' bad electrical job. He's prompt, professional, courteous, knowledgable, and really fun to talk to. Never met anyone like him. Don't waste your time with anyone else. There's a reason he has 5 stars!

I did a total remodel of my house 10 years ago and most things were done pretty well. Not by the electrical sub unfortunately! Very poor installation using cheapest parts they could find. No logic to the switches, lights constantly flickering or not working at all. I know it must happen all the time.

Finally I decided I just had to get it all fixed and I called Alex. I told him the list of things I was interested in fixing or improving. He was VERY attentive to what I was describing and recommended that we start with upgrading the recessed lighting and evaluate the rest when he and his crew came.

They arrived on the scheduled date with 5 people. I can't even describe how efficiently, quickly and carefully they replaced every light in my entire house. Within the first 30 minutes Alex walked through with me to evaluate all of my other requests. By the time they left, I also had a new outlet for a refrigerator and new ballasts and LED lighting in my garage and an additional floodlight for my back yard.

On the second visit, they installed exhaust fans in all 3 bathrooms, fixed my pendant lights, and installed under cabinet lighting over my kitchen counters (which they custom make to exactly fit the space) and a new outlet on my buffet. As Alex described it, it was like electrical surgery to do this without breaking plaster and he was not kidding! It was absolutely flawless.

Every single thing they do is with planning, precision, skill and teamwork. Alex, Alex and all of the crew are also very friendly, communicative and clean up after all of the work.

The younger Alex was trained as an electrician by his stepfather, the other Alex, very well. In addition to becoming very knowledgeable and skilled with a good work ethic, he is organized and an excellent manager of his employees. The genuine respect he has is quite obvious.

Good lighting and functional electrical outlets makes such a difference! I feel like I live in a new house! I cannot thank Alex enough and have been a walking advertisement to my friends and family for the last week.
I would give 10 stars if I could!

We hired Alex & Alex to to do a variety of small electrical jobs. They arrived promptly, wearing masks even though they are vaccinated. They communicated well, clarifying what we were asking and letting us know how they would proceed. They worked efficiently and accomplished everything that we had asked. They even fixed the lights on our range hood although they don't generally repair appliances. We had not asked for an estimate before they started, as for some of the tasks it was unclear what would be involved until they began the work. Their total bill for this work was very reasonable. Alex & Alex will be out go-to electricians in the future.

This company is the best! Incredible! We were having issues with our air conditioning unit and he figured out the problem that other companies didn't catch. He is very thorough and professional. I can't say enough about how great this company is!

The Alex & Alex team was friendly, knowledgeable and was able to come out quickly to service a smoke detector issue I was having. They also repaired a broken light fixture / wiring issue and guided me in my decision to replace my old smoke detectors with smart home detectors (plus installed all of them!).

Will be saving their contact for any future electrical needs or lighting upgrades.

Talented, Trustworthy, Respectful. Alex and his crew are true professionals and masters of their craft.

I have worked with Alex & Alex multiple times on both small and large complicated projects over the past few months. Smaller projects included changing outlets, switches, and replacing chandeliers. Larger projects included rewiring a kitchen, removing outlets from backsplash, and installing outlet strips and track lighting under kitchen cabinets.

They are detail-oriented and clearly communicate what work is being completed, and are the most responsive team in the trades I have ever worked with. When needed, they have even shifted their busy schedule to accommodate time-sensitive requests. They deliver quality work. Every time.

What I am most impressed with is Alex's genuine curiosity to tackle problems and find innovative solutions. His enthusiasm is contagious. It is equally as refreshing as it is inspiring experiencing someone that takes such pride in their work.

Tried for one month paying electricians and handymen to help find a string of flickering outlets that belonged to one breaker line. Alex used LOGIC to find a method to try and it worked... I was SO STRESSED to have no electricity in TWO ROOMS, he basically saved my sanity.. Highly recommend him.

Alex is the best!! The outlets in my baby's room all of a sudden stopped working and upon checking the circuit breaker it looked as if the circuit was shorted. I called around and no one was going to be able to come until later in the week- being a new mom with a baby camera that is on 24/7, this made me nervous.. I called Alex and he was able to come that same day, and fixed the issue so quickly. He was reasonably priced and an all-around nice and genuine guy. If we ever have any electrician needs he will 1000% be our go to and I can't recommend him enough. Thank you so much Alex!!
